Reddit: Easy way to turn off ripples?
I've noticed that the iOS offerings are somewhat lacking in Flutter. It seems like all the example apps / documentation all start with MaterialApp scaffold as a base.I'm wondering if I can just do that and pass some boolean somewhere that says useRipple: Platform.isAndroid so that the ripple stuff is only on Android and not in my iOS app.Alternatively is there a good way to get rid of them? For buttons, action-bar back/action buttons, etc?

Reddit: After reading the guides, still cannot get my app running.
Hi, I have no experience at all with mobile dev, mostly on web with Python and Ruby. I'm just trying out flutter since it's like the best thing right now. But after reading, I managed to get the stuff set up and running using VS code. I can at most create some screens and stuffs like that, but I still don't get how to organise my files in flutter and is there a naming convention for files? Is there concept like model or controller? Do we need a model in mobile app dev? I'm actually trying to link up with firebase for this, do I then still need to create my own model class?
