How does Flutter run in the background?
Hello everyone. English is a second language for me and I am still learning. So I have to use google translate many times. Especially when I read something on my phone and find a word that I don't what's meaning, I immediately search on Google Translate through just click on the word and translate it. By tap to translate, it opens a popup that tells you what is the meaning of your word in your native language. Therefore this is an awesome feature for any people who learn a foreign language and I wonder that is it possible to build with Flutter?When the app is working background, I don't have a context so it seems to me not possible. So do I need to write native code create an app something like that?

Even if it were platform specific, it hands down crushes those I've tried before: Angular, React, SwiftUI, and React Native.Although the initial excitement with Flutter is higher, I remember also being excited every time I switched main frameworks in the past. Eventually, the limitations of the new approach start appearing. I thought I'd ask those who are further ahead in their Flutter journey if there will be roadblocks down the road. So yeah, how does building Flutter app look like further down the line?
