Making a Synchronous call within InitState
Sorry but this might seem a very newbie question but I'll ask anyway. How can I get the package name within the InitState method. I don't want execution of the initmethod to continue until I have the package name back from the call, other code will rely on the package name as I am using Flavors.

Will Flutter embrace Kotlin? (speaking form 2020s perspective)
It's 2020 now, and I know this has been discussed before, but Kotlin seems to have made a lot of progress. They are improving their compiler and more importantly I just stumbled upon this. Google and JetBrains are working hand in hand on a Jetpack Compose library. From the article I understand that soon Android will share the same code that will be used for composable desktop apps. Having all this in mind, do you think Google will decide to embrace Kotlin for developing Flutter apps? I just started learning Flutter and honestly coming from Kotlin, Dart is a bit PITA. I know this might be just beginner's frustration, however it really seems logical now for Flutter to make use of Kotlin Multiplatform. Also would you like full Kotlin support when using Flutter?
