Why is GetX hated ?
Hey my fellow flutter devs. I've been working with flutter from the past 7 months n I just discovered a package called Get/GetX for UI and State Management. Since there were a few issues I ran into while using I asked the community a question regarding that and the amount of hate I received for the package was extreme. I'm kinda in a doubtful phase do I use it for further processes or not. Why is it getting hated soo much

Just accepted my first offer out of college and it's a mobile developer position that uses flutter! Will this in anyway hurt my career? I like what I see from Flutter but if it doesn't take off I'd like to be able to easily get a job doing something else like React/Java/C#.
Basically the title. I just landed my first gig and they wanted a mobile developer. I don't know Flutter at all but they hired me and expect me to learn it on the job. I'm excited about everything, but I'm worried about my future career prospects. I don't mind switching to another language completely, in fact, I'd be willing to do anything for a decent work/life balance, pay and location, but I'm worried if using Flutter will pigeon-hole me or make me look like an unattractive candidate compared to the guys who've worked with enterprise C# or Java.

Doing a project to protect people and need help/mentoring
Hello my name is oudyI'm new to flutter and I'm trying to learn flutter. I'm following this tutorial to build a chat app, but having some struggles. For instance, in the video, it says to create a new package, but on my flutter it's not giving me to option to do that.Additionally, I'm running a big project app, and if someone has the experience that they can supervise me and help me with questions instantly let me know. The project I'm doing is going to help my community, and I'm trying to make it non-profitable too, but I don't have as much knowledge yet. If you want to help me and you have 20 mins of free time per day let me know.

Is the use of cupertino widgets mandatory for iOS approval?
We are developing a mobile app for iOS and Android. We predominantly use MaterialApp and widgets on all screens. Will we have trouble when publishing to Apple store as the UI elements would diverge from standard iOS widgets?I understand that we can use cupertino widgets and control the rendering based on platform. However, this feels like extra work and I will like to know if the extra work is absolutely necessary.I will like to hear back your personal experiences when submitting flutter apps to Apple store.

Is published native apps easier after publishing Flutter apps?
So I’ve finally published my first flutter app for my company to the apple and Android stores and I learnt a lot about xCode and Android Studio.I have no experience with native apps and am just wondering will this experience with flutter help me if I ever delve into native apps?

Web Performance Flutter 2.5
So, this is going to be pretty vague, but just curious if this has jumped out at anyone else. I've had a flutter web app in production for several months. Performance wise it has always been subpar and embarrassing to be honest. However, I recently made two changes and now it quite a bit worse:1.) Updated to Flutter 2.5
2.) Added flutter lint and implemented all the default Flutter Lint fixes, which among other things was making a lot of widgets "const".Now my web performance is worse. Most notable during scrolling. Like I said, it was never great, but now it is just straight bad. I'm not sure which of the 2 actions is the culprit here, and I suspect a long week ahead of trying to unwind things to get back to "subpar" web performance. Was wondering if anyone else had this experience?

MQTT Flutter chat client update
Hello everyone,In the last few days I posted about my POC about creating a chat application with flutter but not with firebase, instead I used MQTT protocol (which is used mostly in IoT. Facebook already used it as chat protocol in their messenger app). The concept now support the basic features like messaging, group chat, presence, sending files, chat markers etc…I will be glad if you give it a chance and provide some feedback.Repo:https://github.com/WahidNasri/flutter-mqtt-chat-client
