Another Redditor and I just made a new Flutter app for social media, called RedRover!
RedRover is all about viral challenges (think of things like #trashtag or the Ice Bucket Challenge), and users can either post to existing challenges or create their own. Whether it's a challenge to take a goofy picture to make your friends laugh, or one to raise awareness for a charitable cause, RedRover is the place where it’s all going down. We've put over a year of blood, sweat and tears into the project so far. I'm a full-time software developer on the app and my buddy works part-time on it doing graphic design. I've loved working in Flutter so far, and would definitely love to hear any feedback from this community.PS: We're running a Mother's Day contest right now, called the #thxmom challenge, and the winner gets $100!All you have to do is make a post in the "#thxmom challenge" celebrating the woman or women who raised you. The owner of the post that has the most likes at midnight on Tuesday will get $100 sent to them over either PayPal or Venmo. Here's a dynamic link to the contest:https://link.redrover.app/h9BfozACes1oRk5e6Our website, which has links to the iOS and Android store pages is:redrover.app

Pass MobX store to child
Hello,i have a quick question about state management using mobx, the process requires you to initialize mobx using provider in didChangeDependencies but i was wondering if i can just pass the store to child widgets contained in that page without having to wait to again using didChangeDependencies.I get the thinking if i load a new page but for children the risk of being null is impossible i thought since it's already loaded, is this flawed logic?

Hello everyone, I have a curious question. I am thinking on learning flutter and I want to know if styling elements is easy or hard to understand and to remember. Since I am accustomed with CSS and HTML, it is easy to relate flutter with CSS and HTML? Or do we need to learn a completely different approach? Thanks for all the help 🙏🏽
