What happens if you dont update your plugin. HELP
I have an app launching soon and I really dont like the idea of calling a developer monthly to check on my app monthly after I've launched. I have no idea about coding so I run and posts content for my app through a custom admin panel he built. I discussed with him and he explained that some parts of the app are built or done with plugins (which I understood from the little knowledge I've gained from wordpress). My question is, what happens if you dont update these plugin? Will my app crash or some features will stop working or not. It's a little app where I posts facts, it also has a quiz and some articles in it. And yeah, I have Google play in app purchase too for a monthly and yearly subscription All answers will be appreciated. And sorry for my lack of knowledge

I know its not exactly the most actively developed framework but if its stable, and doesn't break then why not i guess

FutureBuilder or Provider for handling API calls?
I've been a mobile dev for around 3 years, in that time I've used almost exclusively Xamarin.I was wondering what the best way of passing data to the UI layer is in Flutter when making an API call? FutureBuilder seems like an easy way of being able to await a call and set certain behaviour to occur depending on what state the call's at.I've also seen videos on YouTube/Medium articles that mention patterns such as BLoC, Provider & Riverpod and the sample apps they create are to handle API requests. And from what I can see these require far more boilerplate to set up in comparison to FutureBuilder. So to the more experienced Flutter devs than I - what is the best approach?
