I made a project to deploy Google Model Viewer to Mobile and Web
Hi guys! Some days ago at my work, we had the need to found some framework or tool to develope easly a multiplatform AR experience.I've found the Model Viewer Flutter Package that gives the possiblity to deploy Model Viewer for mobile devices. The problem with this package it's that it cant be deployed to web, but I founded another packages that helped me with that problem. So now i'm facinated we the possibility that Flutter gives me to develop and deploy an AR experience to iOS, Android and Web with a few lines of code and one single script.I made a git to repository to anyone who want to use the project to make their own multiplaform experiences, you can find it here:https://github.com/germanalvarez15/model_viewer_multiplatform

How to get to grips with state mangement
Hi,I have been working in Flutter for a couple of months and I am loving it. I am becoming very proficient with UI development. However, I am now being held back by my complete lack of state management knowledge.Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can improve this? I have never worked with any flutter style framework state management... only ever object-oriented.Any resources, tips, or suggestions will be appreciated.

Flutter rookie attempts his biggest quest yet.
Hi my fellow flutter devs 😁I'm a junior developer that loves flutter. I have made 2 small apps with a team of junior devs, but situations change and now I am taking on a big project solo for a client. This app is daunting as hell 😅.Any tips from the pros? Other than watching youtube videos or using the flutter sites as help.

I updated my Illustrator script that generates custom painter code. It now supports compound paths, opacity, radial and linear gradients and is much more precise, rendering it able to process even the most complex shapes! Check it out!

Best ways to emulate flutter app for testing/developing?
What I do currently is just download an emulator device from android studio (that's literally the only reason I download android studio). Then I go to vscode and it detects the device I just downloaded, I select it and run 'fluter run' to start my app. The performance is alright but it does slow down my desktop a lot. This works fine for my desktop but downloading android studio and running it on my laptop is so slow so looking for alternatives. Most set up tutorials I see use android studio, can I do something other than that? Also, looking for something other than real physical device bc that's something I don't always have access to.If you have another way than android studio or physical device, do you mind giving me a step by step or a link to a tutorial? Thanks in advance!

Is there a shared sheet of basic translation resources?
I see some translation services are offering out of the box translations for the most common strings in (mobile) development. Is there a community effort driven resource with something similar?Like a shared sheet with the common field names, hints, placeholder values, translated in few languages.

My learnings from taking an idea to production
I made an app that lets you know when to sleep and wake up at according to your sleep cycles, so that you don't wake up groggy. Link to the app! It's called snoozy, supports only android at the moment. The app is not too complicated, but it took me about a month from start to finish. Here are some of my learnings and thoughts while building this app:- Have a solid value to begin with: I had made a crappy version of snoozy about 5 months ago and found myself using it everyday. Got my bro to use it everyday as well. So I knew the value it offered personally, but in general you want to get people using it and iterate on the value part, before the design or anything.- Beginning with a design really helps the development experience, not only with the vision but also the colors, fonts, etc which take exponentially longer to visualize if you iterate in code. This was my first time starting out with a design I created on figma, and I think this is how I'm gonna be building apps (and other software) in the future.- Debug and production builds are not the same. I used the local notification plugin, which worked fine in the debug version but crashed the app in production (there was additional config required for release, turned out). I'll definitely make testing a release build in mind in the future.- Just put it out : There are SO MANY other things that are involved after the development process, which were quite valuable to learn. Rolling out to closed testers, then to open testing, then to production on the play store was pretty interesting. Designing play store graphics, polishing stuff in the app for optimal UX, are some of the things I know I would NEVER do if it was a personal project. The code for snoozy isn't open source, but check it out and let me know your thoughts, and I'll be more than happy to let you know how it was built! Hope this post helps out folks and encourages them to publish their sideprojects as well.To the experts and fellow learners out there, I'd be interested in hearing your developer stories, going from idea to production and some of the things you learnt.Have a great day, flutter community!

How to grow as an app developer(Flutter primarily) in India
I have joined a job as a flutter developer and I am fine with the job. Everyone tells me not to look at the money I am getting right now but I have tried and couldn't look beyond a certain limit. I want to know if there is something else I should do to grow or keep with company or go outside India (if that's the only possible way to get better jobs in India)
