Firebase vs cloud firestore
Hey! I want to know what’s exactly the difference between firebase and could firestore. When should I prefer one thing over the other. Also if I were to use one of them, would I need to use sqflite if I had to use local storage? Thanks in advance!

First real web app
I've been learning Flutter/Dart since March. I had to make a lot of early design decisions with the app I've been building very early, and made my fair share of mistakes, and still am making them. One of them I questioned, until this morning was going all in on the web.I've loaded a few "apps", small things, test things, personal things... but this was for a partner, an app I would have stake in. I was very nervous to upload it, but hosted it over the weekend, and tightened up something things... anyway, I am running it on a mac, (2011 macbook pro maxed out ram ssd...) it ran fair during debug/testing, I was nervous. It ran well in release mode, but I still was worried. It's hosted now for in company beta testing on firebase, and it runs fast. Really fast. Lots of data access... And what really surprised me was how well it fits in when installed as an app on this old macbook. It's probably the fastest app I have loaded on this machine.I really want to thank everyone who posts stuff, shares stuff, writes incredible packages, videos, tutorials. I'm 62, lost my client server gig of 20 years in March with the covid lockdown. This morning, I feel like I'm in my 20s and just compiled my first application, pulled out the floppy drive and felt like a million bucks.

Ignorant question about Flutter web
So I get that a Flutter app is compiled down to JS and there will always be some overhead with a Flutter web app because it comes bundled with the Flutter essentials to actually get it to run. (I think it is around 300kb for a hello word demo). Is it even possible / a smart idea for Google to work with the Chrome browser team to have 2 engines built into the browser, the V8 engine and a "Flutter engine" that natively reads dart?Forgive the ignorance if this is impossible
