A new app version with much, much improved player will be released after few hours 😊

🟢 FlixQuest (formerly Cinemax) v2.4.0 changes:

- Added Opensubtitles integration for Movies/TV shows that doesn't have subtitle by default
- Customized the player to be more simpler to use and more aesthetic
- Added PIP (Picture in Picture) support for the player
- Added option to lock the player
- Added option to copy stream link into other apps
- App language change now takes place instantly, no need to reopen the app
- Fixed multiple bugs
- Added more buffer extent options

This installs another app into your device, delete the old one if you want to

⚠️ Recently watched movies and episodes are not moved to the new one.

Closer look at the new redesigned player:

- Larger icons
- Reduced opacity of background color
- It's now harder to accidentally seek the video while tring to exit from the player since the progress bar is moved above the progress, mute and max/minimize icon
- PIP mode (Icon comes when you are not on full screen, also permission needed)
- Lock option to disable controls
- Back button integrated in player

Three users request have been done on this version:

- External player option
- Subtitle fetch for movies/episodes that doesn't have subtitles by default
- More customized player

Live channels are removed temporarily until they're fixed.

📌 Tip

If your internet connection is slow (< 500 kilo bytes per second) and video is not loading often enough, try setting the Buffer second to 30s/45s.

📌 Tip

If a movie or episodes fails to load and you're not sure whether it doesn't really exist or if the server is just down, you can goto "Check server status" screen and check if the server is working or not.
If the message is "Server working" it means that the server is okay but the movie or episode doesn't exist, else you'll see "Server down" error, wait for it a couple of minutes and it'll be back up.

We will have a better error message in the coming version.

📺 Live Channels except news have been restored!

For the future if anyone is facing this "Unexpected end of input..." it means that the server is so busy that it is incapable of responding to your request.

Best thing to do is reopen the app and try again, if it happens again wait a couple of minutes until the server is changed or fixed.

🎬📺 FlixQuest v2.4.1 release

🟢 FlixQuest v2.4.1 changes:

- You can now clear the cache spaced used by the app by going to Settings > Clear cache

- You can now fetch all subtitles that belong to a specific language. i.e if a movie have subs: English 1, English 2, English SDH etc you can load them all to choose the one that sync's with the video

- Better error message whether if the server is down or if the movie/episode is not found

- Fixed bugs


I highly recommend to update to this version as it fixes multiple (not all) errors related to streaming. Unpopular movies and TV shows still won't exist, but the method to fetch the video links and error messages are improved.
