La bandiera Jugoslava, già marcata dalle simbologie comuniste dal 1943. Nel 1946, un anno dopo la fine della Seconda Guerra Mondiale, venne leggermente modificata con uno standard ufficiale, ingrandendo la stella fino a sbordare dai colori orizzontali e filettandola d'oro. I colori erano quelli panslavi, simboleggianti i popoli componenti la federazione socialista. Scomparve con il crollo della Jugoslavia, e del suo regime nel 1992.

The Yugoslav flag, already marked by communist symbols since 1943, was slightly modified in 1946, a year after the end of World War II, with an official standard, enlarging the star until it extended beyond the horizontal colors and adding a gold border. The colors were Pan-Slavic, symbolizing the peoples of the socialist federation. It disappeared with the collapse of Yugoslavia and its regime in 1992.
