"On the grind 2019"

As part of the 2nd edition of "On The Grind", a 3-week festival to celebrate subculture in Ethiopia, we are calling for artists of all disciplines to submit their ideas!

In this open call, we are looking for highly experimental arts and performances that push boundaries and expand our definition of arts and culture by using means that differ from the dominant mainstream culture.

Selected projects get a 6,000 birr prize + a chance to showcase their work at the festival.
