Today, Hailey herself and e.l.f. Cosmetics announced a new chapter for the brand through a landmark billion-dollar deal.
According to sources familiar with the matter, the agreement includes $800 million at closing—paid in cash and stock—plus a potential $200 million earn-out if Rhode hits specific financial targets over the next three years.
“This is a lightning-fast exit for Bieber, who only recently brought on JPMorgan and Moelis to explore a possible sale,” writes Rachel Strugatch of Puck.
Hailey will now step into the roles of Creative Director, Head of Innovation for Rhode, and Strategic Advisor to e.l.f. Beauty.
