With this listing, FirmaChain’s native token, FCT, can now be exchanged with various assets within the Cosmos ecosystem and utilized in numerous decentralized applications (DApps).

We are pleased to announce that the FIRMACHAIN testnet (imperium-4) will be upgraded.

As of November 14th, 2024, the FIRMACHAIN testnet has been reconfigured and upgraded. It was reorganized to configure the same data structure and ecosystem as ‘colosseum-1’, the mainnet of FIRMACHAIN, and was upgraded to v0.4.0, the latest version of FIRMACHAIN, after upgrading to v0.3.3 and v0.3.5, the same as the mainnet.

The v0.4.0 upgrade includes a comprehensive set of improvements to increase the FIRMACHAIN’s stability and transaction processing performance. We upgraded key modules in the FIRMACHAIN to the latest version with guaranteed compatibility, most notably the consensus engine to CometBFT, the successor to Tendermint.

After final testing on the upgraded v0.4.0 testnet environment, and once stability and security have been verified, we will proceed with an official upgrade on the FIRMACHAIN mainnet via a governance vote.

The chain upgrade and testing process on the FIRMACHAIN testnet (imperium-4) has been successfully completed. The testing was conducted by executing most of FIRMACHAIN’s ecosystem on the testnet for comprehensive validation, and was successfully verified through detailed review by development experts.

[Upgrade Highlights]
The v0.4.0 upgrade includes comprehensive enhancements to improve the chain’s stability and transaction processing performance. Key modules in the chain have been upgraded to the latest version with guaranteed compatibility, most notably the consensus engine has been upgraded to CometBFT, the successor to Tendermint.

[Governance Agenda]
A v0.4.0 upgrade agenda will be submitted to the FirmaChain governance. The decision to implement the upgrade will be made by voting proportional to voting power, and voting can be done through ‘Governance’ in Firma Station.

Our recommendation is to access your assets in a secure and reliable environment, like a personal PC with antivirus and security features enabled.

✅3. Responding quickly to unintended transactions

If a transaction occurs that was not intended by the wallet owner, it is possible that the private key or mnemonic code has been compromised.

You should quickly move any remaining assets or assets from wallets using the same mnemonic to a safe environment, and if you suspect cybercrime such as hacking, report the incident to law enforcement agencies and crypto-exchanges for follow-up.
