Google released Gemini 2.5 Flash Image Model, a new image model that allows for text-based image editing. If you’re up on your AI news, you may have already heard of it under its code name “Nano Banana”. We’re excited to announce that we’ve partnered with Google to give you access to Gemini 2.5 Flash Image in Firefly’s Text to Image module (on web and mobile), Firefly Boards (beta), and Adobe Express starting today. How can I access Gemini 2.5 Flash?
•In the Text to Image module of the Firefly App, you’ll find Gemini 2.5 Flash listed as an option under the model selection drop down menu.
•In Firefly Boards, you’ll find it listed as an option in the model drop-down menu in the prompt bar.

Will using Gemini 2.5 Flash consume additional credits? No. For a limited time, Firefly paid members and Creative Cloud Pro customers will have access to unlimited generations with Gemini 2.5 Flash Image. New customers on free plans have access to 20 generations at no cost.
