Details about staking FBDAO and revenue share:

- Treasury started accumulating from mid-January (when FIP1 passed).

- Total fees collected from January 16th to April 30th are $263,379, 20% of which will be allocated for revenue share, or $52,675.80, to be split over 15 weeks, so the minimum revenue share for the next 15 weeks will be $3,511.72 per week.

- Fees collected from 1st to 7th May are $18,400, 20% of which is allocated for revenue share, or $3,680.

- To sum it up, for the first epoch, revenue distributed will be $7,192. 💰

- Reward claim extends duration until the next epoch; in order to withdraw FBDAO, you must forfeit one week's earnings.

- Epochs last for seven days and each claim is on Tuesday. 📆

The first proposal since the FBDAO implementation is live!

In short, the team proposes to reduce the minting rate of FBDAO to 0.5 per day (from the current 1 FBDAO) and we would very much like to hear your thoughts on it on our new forum, which can be found here -> https://forum.firebird.finance/topic/32/fip-6-fbdao-emission-reduction.

We also hope that the Forum will become a place where more suggestions and feedback from the community can be posted, so we can move to a more formal DAO structure. The Firebird Treasury Redemption - a key part of the Firebird DAO will be live tomorrow - currently scheduled for 12pm UTC.

What exactly does this mean?

1. DAO participants will have the choice between continuing to build up their $FBDAO reserves for future redemptions or surrender it in return for 80% of their proportional share
2. This redemption will occur once per month and last for 3 days (starting on the 15th of every month) – This is to give $FBA stakers time to build up $FBDAO reserves as well as Firebird to build upon the treasury
3. The total for this redemption period is $243,013 (see graphic in article for more detail)

The formula for calculating $FBDAO redemption value is 80% of liquid treasury * your $FBDAO / circulating $FBDAO
