Did you know young Benjamin Graham was publishing investment articles in 1917?
Yeah, before Security Analysis, before people started calling him the father of value investing!
I found a scan of one of his articles called “Secrets of Invested Capital”.
All thanks to University of Michigan for digitizing this stuff…
Best read you’ll find today, guaranteed!

👀 CEO bo‘lish haqiqatan ham eng oliy cho‘qqimi?
So‘nggi yillarda ko‘plab CEOlar lavozimlarini avvalgidan ancha tez tark etmoqda. Sababi faqat noto‘g‘ri qarorlar emas — doimiy bosim, yuqori lavozimdagi yolg‘izlik va kun sayin o‘zgarayotgan dunyoga moslashish talabi.
Financial Times’ning “The CEO Crisis” videosida bugungi rahbarlar doimiy ravishda duch keladigan qiyinchiliklar yoritiladi:
— sun’iy intellektga moslashish,
— geosiyosiy risklarni boshqarish,
— ta’minot zanjirlaridagi noaniqlikni nazorat qilish,
— aksiyadorlar va bozorlar qo'yadigan talablarga javob berish.
Millionlab daromad va imtiyozlar bo‘lsa ham, ko‘plab CEOlar o'zlarini charchagan, yolg‘iz yoki lavozimdan ketishga majbur his qilmoqda. Bu esa kattaroq savolni tug‘diradi: rahbarlik haqiqatdan ham hokimiyat haqidami, yoki chidamlilik, o‘zini anglash va to‘g‘ri tarmoqlarni yaratish haqida?
Ushbu video rahbarlikni ideal qilib ko'rsatmaydi. Aksincha, u bizni bitta muhim narsani qayta o‘ylashga majbur qiladi:
bugungi dunyoda yetakchilik nimani anglatadi va unga qanday tayyor bo‘lish kerak — CEO bo‘lishni orzu qiladiganlar ham, kelajakdagi menejerlar ham.
