Final Fantasy XIV Patch 4.4 Sightseeing Guide
The fourth major content patch after Final Fantasy XIV‘s Stormblood expansion arrives on Tuesday, September 18th. Titled “Prelude in Violet”, the patch will include a wealth of new content including the continuation of the main scenario and the Omega raid series, new dungeons, trials, sidequests, and many new features. You can check out the official trailer.
With the exception changes to actions in PvE and PvP content (you can read more in the official patch notes, we’ve created a quick reference guide to unlock all the new content and point out some of the major features.

Main Scenario – Prelude in Violet
Quest: Sisterly Act
Location: Alisaie @ The Rising Stones (X:6.1 Y:5.8)
Character Requirements: Level 70 Disciple of War or Magic
Quest Requirements: Emissary of the Dawn (4.3)
Duty – The Burn
Players: Light Party
Character Requirements: Level 70 Disciple of War or Magic, Item Level 340
Side Story – Interdimensional Rift — Omega
Quest: In the Beginning, There Was Chaos
Location: Jessie @ Rhalgr’s Reach (X:13.4 Y:12.4)
Character Requirements: Level 70 Disciple of War or Magic
Quest Requirements: Test World of Ruin (4.2)
Raid – Omega: Alphascape
Players: Full Party
Character Requirements: Level 70 Disciple of War or Magic, Item Level 355
Duty – Omega: Alphascape (Savage)
Players: Full Party
Quest Requirements: After completing the Alphascape raid, speak with the Wandering Minstrel in Kugane (X:11.6 Y:12.6).
Character Requirements: Level 70 Disciple of War or Magic, Item Level per Tier: 370/375/380/380
**Tokens obtained from each floor of the raid to redeem gear can be claimed only once per week. Reward eligibility will be reset every Tuesday at 1:00am Pacific Daylight Time.

Quest: The Fire-bird Down Below

Duty – Saint Mocianne’s Arboretum (Hard)

Quest: Lighting the Way
Location: Kozakura @ The Doman Enclave (X:7.2 Y:7.3)

Quest Requirements: Complete the Doman Reconstruction.
Even Further Hildibrand Adventures will release in Patch 4.45
The Forbidden Land, Eureka Pyros will release in Patch 4.45
Feature Updates
The Shifting Altars of Uznair
When you a discover a portal after deciphering a gazelleskin map, you will be transported to either The Lost Canals of Uznair or The Shifting Altars of Uznair — the location is chosen at random. Entering the Shifting Altars requires a full party of eight players and your item level will be synced to 370.
Once inside you will be presented with a roulette wheel of sorts — with different icons corresponding to different outcomes. Some icons will summon enemies to fight while others will summon Atomos, who will instantly expel you from the Shifting Altars. There are five rounds in total, and should all party members be KO’d before you complete the five rounds, you will also be expelled from the Shifting Altars.

With Tokyo Game Show 2018 commencing soon, Square Enix has released a brand new trailer for World of Final Fantasy Maxima due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on November 6.
This re-release offers new Final Fantasy champions and mirages to add even more flavor to the game’s cutesy and exhilarating adventure. On top of that, World of Final Fantasy Maxima also brings an “Avatar Change System”, which allows players to battle against foes as franchise legacy characters including Noctis from Final Fantasy XV, Yuna from Final Fantasy X and more.

Square Enix has released a new trailer for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition due out for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in 2019.
This RPG involves up to four players (adventurers) embarking on a journey across the world to protect it from an evil miasma. The remastered title offers new areas to the game’s dungeons, additional voice-over work and more.
