A gripping first half with an average second half.
Third act felt underwhelming.😶
Tried to make it a different approach
2:30hr was too long for this.
Making and BGM were dope 🤌🏻🔥

Easily the best MCU product this year along with Moon Knight. Cant specifically compare those two as this was equivalent of a pilot episode.
Every year we see numerous reviews about how the new product is nothing like what Marvel has done before. But this time those reviews seems sensible as Werewolf by Night delivers an experience that stays to true to its roots and tone through out. Absolutely no cheesy moments, quips or ill timed jokes. Probably the ending sequence showing the interaction between two characters can be considered remotely MCU.
The stage for the show is set from the intro itself with the black and white treatment paying homage to a lot of classic horror films. Unlike the usual set piece after set piece treatment, the film stretches a thin storyline over the entire duration. It may not scare you or provide the usual fun. But it opens the doors to a fresh and innovative direction that Marvel can follow in the future for monsters and vampires.
OMG Michael Giacchino!!! After scoring for No Way Home and Batman, another success in another field. Solid option to direct Blade as it stands.
