We are missing a trick with the IPAS applicants' fiasco. We should be focusing on 'Georgian IPAS applicants' at every turn because: (1) There is no logical explanation for why there are so many, making up almost 15% of applicants; (2) They are Christian and 'white'. Iran has 15 times the population of Georgia yet has 35 times fewer IPAS applicants per head of population. Iran is an extremely oppressive country for gay people, women, etc. Getting to the root of why or how so many Georgians can get into the system will reveal how others game the system... Without the accusation of 'racism'
Every interaction on IPAS migrants with the left or the government should focus on hard questions regarding Georgia. They are taking up the beds of other oppressed minorities.

Why are 15% of asylum applications coming from a homogeneous country with no war, little oppression and booming economy?

Here are some hard questions that could be asked:
1. Specific Criteria for Asylum from Georgia:
- What specific criteria are being used to assess asylum claims from Georgian applicants?
- How do these criteria compare with the assessment of applicants from countries with more widely recognized conflicts or human rights issues?
2. Comparative Analysis with Other Countries:
- Why are Georgian asylum seekers seemingly overrepresented compared to other nationalities, especially those from countries with more overt political or social turmoil?
- How does the approval rate of Georgian asylum seekers compare with that of applicants from countries like Iran, known for more explicit forms of oppression?
3. Policy and Process Transparency:
- Can the immigration authorities provide detailed transparency on the decision-making process for asylum claims, particularly for countries like Georgia, where the reasons for seeking asylum might not be immediately apparent?
4. Investigation into Potential System Exploitation:
- Is there an ongoing investigation to determine if the asylum system is being exploited by applicants from certain countries, including Georgia?
- What measures are in place to detect and prevent any misuse of the asylum process?
5. Addressing Perceptions of Bias:
- How is the immigration authority addressing perceptions or allegations of racial, religious, or nationality-based bias in the asylum process?
6. Global Standards and Human Rights Compliance:
- Are the policies and practices in assessing asylum claims from Georgian nationals in line with international human rights standards and refugee conventions?
7. Assessment of In-Country Conditions in Georgia:
- What is the current understanding of the socio-political and economic conditions in Georgia that might be driving the high number of asylum applications?
- How is this information gathered and updated?
8. Resource Allocation and Prioritization:
- How are resources allocated for processing asylum applications, and is there a prioritization system based on the severity of the applicant's situation?
9. Support for Genuine Asylum Seekers:
- What steps are being taken to ensure that genuine asylum seekers, especially from countries with well-documented crises, are not disadvantaged or overlooked due to the high volume of applications from other nations like Georgia?
10. Impact on Public Perception and Policy:
- How does the disproportionate number of asylum seekers from certain countries like Georgia affect public perception and policy-making regarding refugees and asylum seekers in general?

Are you seeking genuine fire safety concerns regarding asylum seekers? Look into the IPAS inspection reports of offical DP centres. There's a pattern of residents breaking rules by installing cooking facilities and smoking in their rooms. Moreover, it seems there are no inspection protocols in place for the new emergency accommodation centres. The first tragic incident involving IPAS migrants will likely be caused by a resident disregarding basic safety regulations, not the "far right"

In the landscape of asylum seeking, how does Iran, with 80 million under authoritarian rule, send only a couple of hundred seekers, while smaller, democratic EU-bound Georgia sends a staggering 4,000?

A traditional Irish musician.... facing endless requests for tunes from every corner of the globe.
In 2022, over a hundred thousand Christian Ethiopians lost their lives in a war that garnered little attention, marking it as the second-largest conflict following Ukraine. However, for some weird reason the number of Ethiopians in state ran IPAS accomodation is only 140.
