Dear FEG Community, We Heard You!
We are thrilled to announce a major restructuring of our staking protocol, designed to create positive buying pressure for FEG and drastically reduce overall staking costs!
Key Changes:
1. Positive Buying Pressure: The new staking model will continuously purchase FEG rewards on the market using a custom fee converter, increasing demand and potentially driving up FEG’s value.
2. Simplified Staking Model: Exclusively for FEG, this model will focus on earning rewards solely in FEG tokens, making staking more straightforward and cost-effective when staking or claiming rewards.
3. Adjusted Reward Share: The fee for SmartDeFi project investors entering token staking pools will be reduced to 0.5% (down from 1%), benefiting both SmartDeFi token stakers and FEG stakers.
The FEG Staking Tokenomics Tax of Buy/Sell at 1.3% remains unchanged.
Transition Details:
- Upgrade Date: The staking protocol will be upgraded on Wednesday, June 19th. Staking will be paused on each chain for a few hours during the upgrade. This pause will not affect trading.
- Reward Withdrawal: Stakers wanting to keep their current rewards will need to withdraw their current rewards by Tuesday, June 18th. After this, any remaining rewards will be converted to FEG and sent to the staking contract and distributed over time to all stakers.

📣 Staking Protocol Restructuring for FEG Begins Today!
Dear FEG Community,
Today is the 19th, and we are thrilled to announce that our major restructuring of the staking protocol is now going into effect.
FEGrox is preparing to pause the protocol and transition staking to the following plan designed to create positive buying pressure for FEG and drastically reduce overall staking costs!
Key Changes:
1. Positive Buying Pressure: The new staking model will continuously purchase FEG rewards on the market using a custom fee converter, increasing demand and potentially driving up FEG’s value.
2. Simplified Staking Model: Exclusively for FEG, this model will focus on earning rewards solely in FEG tokens, making staking more straightforward and cost-effective when staking or claiming rewards.
3. Adjusted Reward Share: The fee for SmartDeFi project investors entering token staking pools will be reduced to 0.5% (down from 1%), benefiting both SmartDeFi token stakers and FEG stakers.
The FEG Staking Tokenomics Tax of Buy/Sell at 1.3% remains unchanged.
Transition Details:
- Upgrade Date: The staking protocol will be upgraded today, June 19th. Staking will be paused on each chain for a few hours during the upgrade. This pause will not affect trading.
- Reward Withdrawal: The option to withdraw rewards by June 18th has now passed. Any remaining rewards will be auto-converted to FEG and redistributed to the staking contract for all stakers.

This was accomplished through the priority listing and fee of 5k USD.
CoinGecko will continue to be worked on as they've listed FEG ETH with quite a bit of missing info.
As you may have noticed from the Gorilla Logo on CMC, we've decided to bring back the Gorilla mascot and start using the FEED EVERY GORILLA slogan instead of just promoting "FEG Token."
This change comes because we've noticed a significant drop in community engagement. ROX, Tomi, and I discussed this and felt it was necessary. DewBo also agreed during our branding discussion, so we decided to move forward.
Using the Gorilla and the FEED EVERY GORILLA slogan will help us overcome the limitations we've faced with marketing the “F” without a recognizable character. When we put the fancy “F” on various gorilla images, it doesn't have the same impact as having the Gorilla mascot, which people can rally behind and use for memes, merchandise, and more.
In our efforts to recover from past challenges, we may have gone too far in trying to be overly serious. The seriousness of the SmartDeFi platform and product will remain, but bringing back the Gorilla is about adding fun and character to the token itself. We've focused so much on being serious that we've lost touch with the fun community aspect.
We will continue to use the logos created for each platform, with the exception of the launchpad logo. SmartDeFi will simply be represented by its own logo. Additionally, we will be updating the FEG.io website to reflect these changes and will be bringing a landing page to SmartDeFi.com to assist with ease of use and navigation.
The hierarchy of the ecosystem will be:
