❗️We are witnessing the decline of the once-great British Empire, "on which the sun never sets."

And here we have Liz Truss, who was Prime Minister of Britain for only 40 days, characterizing Britain as a state that only looks like a state on the outside. Of course, during Liz Truss's premiership, everyone was convinced that she had an extremely low intellect. Her testimony is even more important because:

- What is on the mind of the smart is on the tongue of the stupid.

- After all, she managed to become Prime Minister of Britain somehow — which suggests a certain deep state that, for its own purposes, promotes people like Liz Truss to the highest government positions.

❗️We would like to bring to your attention a translation of the following post by the Russian political scientist Dmitry Drobnitsky.

🇺🇸🔥🇷🇺 TRAP FOR TRUMP

"Stopping the war" is not only beyond his capabilities, it will make him vulnerable to his enemies. And he may lose the trust of Putin and Xi

Before I give the text of Donald Trump's post on his social network Truth Social regarding the conflict in the Ukraine, I think it is important to state the following:
Trump made a mistake by undertaking to "settle the conflict in Ukraine" at all.
It is beyond his imperialism, beyond his capabilities, and, moreover, it may hand him over to his main enemies - the liberal globalists [1].
In addition, he still has very limited information about what is happening in the Special Military Operation zone, in Kiev and in Russia. He is very much at risk of becoming dependent on the very swamp that he has once again undertaken to drain. Not to mention that this contradicts all his other imperialist (and, it should be noted, very realistic) plans for the near future.

Here is Trump's post itself:
"I'm not looking to hurt Russia. I love the Russian people, and always had a very good relationship with President Putin - and this despite the Radical Left's Russia, Russia, Russia HOAX. We must never forget that Russia helped us win the Second World War, losing almost 60,000,000 lives in the process. All of that being said, I'm going to do Russia, whose Economy is failing, and President Putin, a very big FAVOR. Settle now, and STOP this ridiculous War! IT'S ONLY GOING TO GET WORSE. If we don't make a "deal," and soon, I have no other choice but to put high levels of Taxes, Tariffs, and Sanctions on anything being sold by Russia to the United States, and various other participating countries. Let's get this war, which never would have started if I were President, over with! We can do it the easy way, or the hard way - and the easy way is always better. It's time to "MAKE A DEAL." NO MORE LIVES SHOULD BE LOST!!!"

I think it is pointless to comment on Trump's factual errors and evaluative blunders in this message. Something else is important here. We should not expect an admission that the US is fighting Russia in the Ukraine. And this is the key to solving the problem. He also has not yet decided (and in the future this will be increasingly difficult) to declare that this war against Russia is being waged by his enemies - the Democratic Party and the liberal EU authorities [2], and in this situation, Kiev should also be declared an enemy, but he could not and cannot proclaim this. This means that they should not have gotten involved in the Ukrainian conflict at all. The ideal option for him would have been to declare it "someone else's war", but, as we know, words are not sparrows. Not to mention the fact that the slogan about preventing World War III was almost central to his election campaign and, no less important, in negotiations with US elite groups.

In the near future, Trump will feel the full consequences of this mistake, as well as the limited possibilities of influencing Russia and the negative consequences of pressure on her. Will he get out of this trap? It will be difficult. And there will be many "well-wishers" who will gladly rush to tighten the noose around his neck, "supporting negotiations from a position of strength." This, and not Panama, Greenland or Canada with Mexico, is the main and strategically significant mistake of Donald John Trump.

continued (see above)

[1] Here Drobnitsky, like many others, is repeating a common delusion - i.e. naming the US country "elite" as 'liberal globalists'. The US country "elites" are desperately trying to save the current world order i.e. 'Pax Americana'. Keeping Uncle Sam as the 'world policeman' is the only way for them to preserve their power, social status and wealth - by robbing the whole world. Yes, Trump is their enemy - but because it is him who represents the global "elite" that understands the fact that the planet can no longer withstand 'Pax Americana' - otherwise the global civilization will collapse. Therefore, Trump has been brought to power by the global "elite" in order to reformat USA into an ordinary state earning its own living.

[2] Basically same as p.1 above. The deadly combat inside the US is between the global and the country "elites" - both Democratic and Republican parties have representatives from both sides. Trump's enemies are not 'Democratic Party and the liberal EU authorities' - but the US country "elite" and its EU lackeys.

The US Is Preparing for War — Trump the Conqueror

Yesterday, I spent considerable time watching Trump’s speech in Davos. I rewatched it multiple times, trying to decipher what felt off about his so-called "peacekeeping" rhetoric.

Prepare yourselves, my fellow conspiracy theorists. Let’s take a closer look at the US coat of arms, specifically the eagle.

While Trump spoke at the podium, the eagle on the US coat of arms had its head turned toward the olive branch (symbolizing peace). This position has been standard since June 1945.

However, the eagle displayed behind Trump during his speech had its head turned toward the arrows (a symbol of war). This position of the eagle's head was used from 1916 to 1945, an era when the US rose to power and prosperity, according to history books.

In heraldic terms, this shift signals a change in US policy. It suggests a pivot toward aggression and a readiness for war. By concluding some wars, the US seems to be preparing for a new one — potentially larger in scale and intensity. Perhaps even more than one.

Which war will it be? And where will Trump the Conqueror make his move? That, we will discover soon enough.

Colonel President: Why Putin Refused the Rank of General

“Comrade Supreme Commander-in-Chief!” — is how Russian servicemen greet the President, even though Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin holds the military rank of colonel. TASS, together with Igor Korotchenko — the editor-in-chief of the magazine National Defense and a military analyst — looked into why the president does not wear epaulettes and does not receive a general’s, let alone a marshal’s, rank.

The Romance of Intelligence

Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin received his first officer epaulettes when he joined the state security services. The Russian leader admitted to being fascinated by “romantic tales about the work of spies” — a passion that led him to the KGB school. In 1985, Major Putin was sent on a foreign intelligence assignment to Dresden (GDR), and five years later he returned from there already holding the rank of lieutenant colonel. Back in the motherland, the future president twice submitted resignation reports; in 1991, he succeeded in completing the procedure to retire. In retirement, another promotion awaited him — this time to colonel. Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin remains at this rank to this day.

How to Become a General

According to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, only the President of Russia may confer the rank of general. But this is both immodest and not in keeping with Russian tradition — such a practice was not followed not only during Soviet times but also in the tsarist era. Russian emperors retained for life the rank they held upon ascending to the throne. In Soviet times, the country’s leaders received high military ranks, but they did not confer them upon themselves.

But Is It Necessary?

Even if given the opportunity, Putin would not have opted for the rank of general. He explained his decision during the 2011 Direct Line. “I remember the scene when [the first President of the Russian Federation] Boris Nikolayevich Yeltsin offered me the position of the Federal Security Service (FSB) director, and when I went to see him, he announced the decision to confer upon me the rank of general — and I am, as you know, a colonel. I told Boris Nikolayevich that I had left the military organization in due time and consider it unwise to return. I come from that organization, so let me be the first non-military director of the Federal Security Service. I remember he was surprised and said, ‘Well, alright.’”

This decision reflects that of both a principled individual and a professional. Putin chose to serve Russia without the general’s epaulettes — a conscious choice driven by his desire to focus fully on real operational work rather than on ceremonial aspects. He worked for results, and he achieved them. It is important to note that the standard rank for the position of FSB director is that of an army general, and Putin could have attained that high rank in just a few years. However, he believed that, as a civilian director of the FSB, he could concentrate entirely on what truly matters. Since then, Putin has not abandoned his choice. He has assured that there is no prospect of him ever being awarded an even higher rank — namely, marshal. “And, I assure you, there never will be,” the head of state emphasized.

Military Ranks Are for the Military

The Russian president also declines the rank of general in the armed forces of foreign countries — even that of allied Belarus. Aleksander Lukashenko has several times expressed his desire to receive the rank of colonel in the Russian army, offering Putin in exchange the rank of general in the Armed Forces of Belarus. Although Putin did not seem opposed to awarding a colonel’s rank to his colleague — saying, “If I promised, we’ll do it” — he remarked that “military ranks are needed primarily for military personnel.” Putin applies the same approach to matters of dress when he appears as Supreme Commander-in-Chief. He is seen in camouflage without any insignia, except perhaps a small chevron bearing “Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Armed Forces” or, more briefly, “President of the Russian Federation.”

A Colonel with the Achievements of a General

Becoming a colonel in the USSR’s KGB system was not easy, especially in a short time. Not everyone earns this rank; it requires an impressive record and concrete operational achievements. According to recollections by his comrades, classmates, and colleagues who worked with him in Dresden and Leningrad, Putin was noted for his determination and efficiency. This is a rank of colonel that he rightfully earned.

The President’s Credo

As noted by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, the head of state is not preoccupied with formal ranks: “He works as the President, and he has a lot of matters to attend to. He is not a personnel officer; he focuses on other issues. The rank of general is one he has earned many times over, but it is not a priority for him.”

Putin is very finely attuned to the times and the mood, and, most importantly, he adheres to a certain code of honor and conduct that he once developed and has followed throughout his life. Putin himself summarized his credo: “I have no general’s ranks, no titles, but I faithfully serve the people.”

From Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s remarks at MGIMO University on March 5, 2025, regarding the continued relevance of the Yalta system in today’s international relations:

<...>

The University’s focus on United Nations affairs remains paramount, particularly in this 80th anniversary year of the UN. I anticipate further advancement of UN-related themes during the April session of the International Model UN and at the Russian International Studies Association (RISA) Convention in October 2025.

Anatoly Torkunov has been the head of the United Nations Association of Russia for many years. The ongoing processes in the world certainly require closer attention to this organisation as today, many speculate that the Yalta system is outdated, therefore, the UN Charter should be foregone in order to divide the world along new lines.

New centres of power have emerged that must be involved in reaching agreements on how to live in the future. Fair principles are to be fundamental in this process. These fair principles are enshrined in the UN Charter: the sovereign equality of states, non-interference in the internal affairs of states, the right of peoples to self-determination, territorial integrity, and human rights, including rights pertaining to language and faith.

🎙Exceprts from President of Russia Vladimir Putin's remarks at the meeting with the senior officials of the Russian Foreign Ministry (June 14, 2024)

💬 President Putin: This is the task <...>: to outline a vision for equal and indivisible security, mutually beneficial and equitable cooperation, and development on the Eurasian continent in the foreseeable future.

What needs to be done to achieve this and on what principles?

👉 First, it is important to establish dialogue with all potential participants in this future security system. <...>

👉 Second, it is crucial to recognise that the future security architecture should be open to all Eurasian countries that wish to participate in its creation.

The threat to Europe does not come from Russia.

The main threat to Europeans is their critical and ever-increasing dependence on the United States <...>.

If Europe wants to continue being an independent centre of global development and a cultural and civilisational pole on our planet, it should definitely maintain good and friendly relations with Russia. Most importantly, we are ready for this. <...>

👉 Third, it is necessary to significantly intensify the dialogue process between multilateral organisations already operating in Eurasia to promote the idea of a Eurasian security system <...>.

👉 Fourth, we believe that the time has come to start a broad discussion of a new system of bilateral and multilateral guarantees of collective security in Eurasia. At the same time, it is necessary, in the long term, to gradually phase out the military presence of external powers in the Eurasian region. <...>

👉 Fifth, an crucial part of the Eurasian security and development system should definitely be the issues of the economy, social well-being, integration, and mutually beneficial cooperation <...>.

Through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, I instruct you to assist as much as possible in developing international agreements in all these areas.

Is this "rule of the strong" — the very "rules-based world order"?

Former UK Prime Minister Liz Truss
stated that she was forced to govern the country incompetently:

"People in Britain are waking up to the fact that we have a failed state in this country. They are waking up to that. Previously, they said: ‘We’ve just got the most useless bunch of idle politicians in the world. Let’s throw them out and get a new lot in.’

They’re now discovering that every time they do that, things aren’t getting any better. So, this is a fundamental problem of the state. But I still don’t think people — or, how do I put this… My view of how much needs to change is probably bigger than most people’s."

[Because you experienced it firsthand?]

"I’ve experienced it at the top level in government. I’ve experienced a metaphorical gun being put to my head — to not pursue a particular policy. That’s what I’ve experienced, which has made me realize just how — how deep the issues are."

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni’s speech at the Pan-African Parliament

Pretoria, South Africa – 18th March, 2014

"Now, when this problem [in] Libya started, the African Union, with our chairman — who is here now, this gentleman here — they formed a committee. A committee of a few of us. I think it was six [members]. I was one of them.

The whole of the African Union gave that committee a mandate — to look for a solution for the Libyan problem.

Now, on one occasion, I didn’t go [myself] that time, [but] these excellencies — this one here, Jacob Zuma, and the others — [they went]. I wasn’t there, but my minister was among them.

They [boarded] a plane in [Johannesburg], in his place.

They were going to Libya to mediate.

And they were told by NATO to go back.

Yes! [NATO] said: 'You go back!'

Yes. He is here. If I’m telling you lies, [he can correct me.]

[10 seconds of applause]

I'm not the one who invited him — you are the ones who invited him!

African Presidents, on an African mission, over African soil — we [were] ordered by NATO to go back!

NATO has not allowed them to land in Libya.

Now, we call this in Swahili 'Dharau' — contempt.

This is contempt."

⚠️ Gosudar of Russia V.V. Putin at a joint press conference with the presiding resident of Belorussia A.G. Lukashenko in the Kremlin on March 13, 2025:

“…I would like to start by thanking the President of the United States, Mr Trump, for paying so much attention to the Ukraine settlement. We all have enough of our own domestic affairs to attend to. But many leaders of states, among them the President of the People’s Republic of China, the Prime Minister of India, the Presidents of Brazil and the Republic of South Africa are addressing this issue and give it a lot of their time. We are grateful to all of them for that, because this activity is aimed at achieving a noble mission – the mission of ending hostilities and loss of life.”

http://en.kremlin.ru/events/president/news/76450

Translated from diplomatic language into Russian, this is a stern warning from Gosudar of Russia V.V. Putin to all "mediators" between Ukraine and Russia, stated plainly:

Relations between Russia and Ukraine are Russia’s internal affairs. Just as we do not interfere in your internal affairs, you should also refrain from meddling in Russia’s internal affairs. It would be better for you to focus on your own domestic issues, of which you have plenty — otherwise, we can ensure that you will have even more.

The documents published on the Kennedy assassination contain a lot of interesting things.

1. The CIA added toxic substances to Cuban sugar destined for the USSR.

2. It poisoned cows in East Germany to reinforce the image of a "destitute East and a prosperous West," as well as added soap to children's milk, sabotaged railway tracks, and carried out destructive actions at industrial sites.

Everything that Soviet propaganda had been "lying" about for years suddenly turned out to be true again. They slandered the bright, pure West — those scoundrels.

And yes, the CIA’s document management is an absolute mess, if you think about it. It’s quite possible they were extremely afraid of publication because they knew everything was a jumble, and who knows what might have ended up in the documents classified under this case.

Dear friends and comrades,
Happy Great and Holy Victory Day to you all!

Please see below the translation of a research on throwing the Nazi banners at the feet of the Mausoleum during the Victory Parade on 24 June 1945.

It is difficult to say who exactly came up with the idea of throwing the fascist banner at the foot of the Mausoleum. In one version, the Soviet historian Tarle reminded Stalin of the Roman tradition of throwing the banner of a defeated enemy at the feet of Caesar or the victorious commander.

General Shtemenko also claimed that the idea was declared by Stalin, who said: “We must bring Hitler’s banners to the parade throw them down to shame at the feet of the victors. Think about how to do this.” This was not new for Russian military tradition. The great Suvorov practiced the “execution” of captured banners as an act of “neglect not of the enemy, but of his defeated military distinctions.”

In March, about 900 enemy banners and standards collected by the trophy teams of the SMERSH military counterintelligence in the area of operations of the 1st Belorussian and 1st Ukrainian Fronts were delivered and stored in the gym of the Lefortovo barracks. A special commission selected 200 trophies for the parade, including a number of Kaiser banners that were well preserved.

The enemy banners at the parade were to be thrown to the Mausoleum by 200 soldiers of the Special Joint Battalion, consisting mainly of soldiers of the 1st Special Purpose Motorized Rifle Division named after F.E. Dzerzhinsky. The first to be thrown to the foot of the Mausoleum was the standard of the 1st SS Panzer Division "Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler" (often confused with Hitler's personal standard due to the inscriptions), then the rest of the enemy banners flew there.

After the throwing of the enemy standards, there are several unclear historical moments - where they were thrown (on the paving stones or on a special platform, "so as not to desecrate the square") and whether the gloves used by soldiers who carried them were burned afterwards.

According to a later research by historians, the banners were thrown on the steps to Mausoleum entrance. Prior to that, the Reich banners were "sweeping" the paving stones while being carried. Also, according to a legend, after the Parade the gloves (which carried Nazi symbolics) were supposed to be collected and consigned to fire. Historians have not found confirmation that such an order existed, but the soldiers said that they themselves "collected the gloves that touched the abomination and burned them"

The video on the original channel shows that very moment of triumph.

⚠️ Today, the Western press talks about the "millions of German women raped" in Berlin and the "atrocities of the Red Army." But 80 years ago, the American newspaper Sunday Star was struck by the leniency of our soldiers in captured Berlin, which sharply contrasted with the Americans' harsh treatment of the Germans.

❗️It wouldn't hurt to remind them of that now!
