โ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธDespite his persistent Achilles tendon problems, Kim Min-jae has never clearly told Vincent Kompany that he can't play. But now the defender has decided to take more rest in the final games of the season. Regarding his future, Kim has not been told by the club that he should leave. Nevertheless, Bayern would be willing to listen to offers for him.
โ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธIn the dressing room after the Inter second leg, which was his last Champions League game for Bayern, Thomas Mรผller made a symbolic 'passing of the baton'. Mรผller deliberately took Aleksandar Pavloviฤ‡ and Josip Staniลกiฤ‡ next to him, both homegrown players like himself, and told them: 'You have to keep going. Things go on. You can still win many titles here. Now is your time'.
โ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธThomas Mรผller has rejected a contract offer from FC Cincinnati and turned down interest from Fiorentina as well. Mรผller is on Cincinnati's 'Discovery List', meaning no other MLS club can sign him unless the discovery rights are transferred. Mรผller has many other inquiries from the Premier League, Turkey and Serie A.
๐Ÿ—ฃ๐Ÿ—ฃ๐Ÿ—ฃ๐Ÿ—ฃJosip Staniลกiฤ‡ on the significance of winning the Bundesliga: "It's extremely important for us and for all Bayern fans that we bring the title back to Munich. We've been working towards that all season. It's, as the saying goes, the most honest title because you have to earn it over 34 matchdays. You could see on Saturday that we absolutely wanted to win the game and dominate from the start โ€“ we simply wanted to show a reaction." [fcb]
โ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธAleksandar Pavloviฤ‡: "After the game in Milan, we were obviously disappointed. There's only one goal now, and that's the league title. The coach and we as a team addressed that directly in the dressing room. Our full focus is on the next game. We absolutely want to win again against Mainz. I would be incredibly happy to win the title with my home club and be able to present the trophy to the fans. That would be breathtaking"
๐Ÿ—ฃ๐Ÿ—ฃ๐Ÿ—ฃ๐Ÿ—ฃSerge Gnabry: "We have a lot of motivation to give everything after such a setback [CL exit]. The goal is now close. We want to get it done as quickly as possible. At the end of the day, we have to focus on winning our games"
โ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธFC Bayern Mรผnchen had not planned it for a long time โ€“ but are now actively searching for a top centre-back!

The market is being explored. After their elimination against Inter, Bayern have realised changes are needed in defence too.

Talks over Dayot Upamecanoโ€™s extension are currently stalling due to his high demands. Kim Min-jae can leave if a top offer arrives and he wants to go.

Bayern still want to extend with Eric Dier โ€“ talks ongoing.
โ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธFC Bayern Mรผnchen are monitoring Genk's Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare (24) as a potential backup for Harry Kane. 19 goals in 34 league games for Genk. โ‚ฌ25M price tag. Dortmund and Stuttgart also made enquiries.
โ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธFC Bayern Mรผnchen Kids Club members asked Thomas Mรผller a few questions

๐Ÿ—ฃ๐Ÿ—ฃ๐Ÿ—ฃ๐Ÿ—ฃQ1: What do you think is the main reason you've remained loyal to FC Bayern for so many years?

Mรผller: "FC Bayern is such a great club for me, and I never really wanted to leave. Of course, there were times when things weren't quite right. For example, my former coach Louis van Gaal wanted to bring me to England. But I didn't do it then, and now, after all these years, I'm still here and I feel good"

๐Ÿ—ฃ๐Ÿ—ฃ๐Ÿ—ฃ๐Ÿ—ฃQ2: What does a normal working day look like for you? What time do you have to get up and go to training, and what time do you get home in the evening? What do you do after training?

Mรผller: "It varies and depends on the training. We usually train at 1:30 p.m., and then I get up at 8:00 a.m. I always try to get around eight hours of sleep to be rested and have enough energy for the day. I usually arrive at Sรคbener StraรŸe an hour and a half before training, have something to eat, and chat with my teammates. After that, I prepare for training and go to the physiotherapist. Sometimes we also have a tactics session before the training session on the pitch. After training, I sometimes go to the physio again or to the sauna for recovery."

Q3: Which opponent has impressed you the most in your entire career?

Mรผller: "I can't really say. I don't want to name a single opponent because I've had the chance to play against so many good opponents"

Q4: What did you want to be as a kid, and who was your role model?

Mรผller: "Good question! I always dreamed of becoming a football player. I finished high school so I would have the prerequisites for university. But football was my focus, and at 16 or 17, I already knew I could make it happen. My role models back then were Giovane ร‰lber and Gerd Mรผller."

Q5: Which player would you have liked to play with at FC Bayern?

Mรผller: "I would have loved to play with Gerd Mรผller. He's an attacking player, just like me. Gerd was a real goalscorer, and I would have loved to have set up a few goals for him"

Q6: What was your best moment in your football career at FC Bayern and with the national team?

Mรผller: "Especially the experiences off the pitch, with the people around me, are always wonderful. Winning the treble in 2013 is, of course, something very special for me, but losing the final at home in 2012 also had a big impact on me."

Q7: What do you want to do in the future when you're no longer playing football?

Mรผller: "I don't have any plans yet, and if I did, I wouldn't reveal them now. Let it be a surprise"

Q8: Dear Thomas, your book "My Path to the Dream Club" is absolutely exciting, funny, and incredibly cool. An absolute must-read for every Thomas Mรผller fan. How long did you write it, and will there be a sequel at some point?

Mรผller: "I really enjoyed working on the book. There's even been a sequel already, and if the boys and girls enjoy it, I might write more."
โ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธMax Eberl and Christoph Freund were initially confident about concluding contract talks with Dayot Upamecano quickly. However, talks have hit a bit of a stumbling block in recent days.

There are several things the two parties are struggling to see eye to eye on. FC Bayern canโ€™t agree to higher salary demands at a time when theyโ€™re looking to cut costs across the squad. Likewise, the player's camp is looking for a revised release clause. His agents think that his current clause (โ‚ฌ120m) is too high, so theyโ€™re demanding that the club set a lower one. Bayern bosses are under pressure to agree a deal - Vincent Kompany wants to keep working with the Frenchman.
โ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธLeon Goretzka has resumed team training after recovering from a calf issue and should be ready for Mainz on Saturday
