A disturbing incident has been reported in the Akobo area of Ibadan, Oyo State, where a man identified as Muhammad Quadri, a former student of The Polytechnic Ibadan and ex-NYSC corps member, allegedly attempted to hide the body of a young woman named Precious, who was said to be his girlfriend. Eyewitnesses said residents noticed him trying to push her body into the boot of his 2007 Toyota Corolla, but when he realized neighbours were still outside, he reportedly dropped the body and fled the scene. Locals said the two had earlier been seen entering the house together that day and also claimed they had been in a troubled relationship. Police later arrived at the scene, recovered the body, and began investigations after the house was found scattered with a hammer reportedly lying on the floor.
