🙂 Nine years ago, a historic event took place in the world of CS!

The ill-fated Gaming Paradise 2015 tournament was held in Slovenia. The event was supposed to be something special for its time, with matches between teams interspersed with a chill atmosphere and poolside gatherings by the bar.

But for the teams, there was no room for chilling or laughter. Players from Titan got food poisoning at the hotel, but that turned out to be the least of their problems. It turned out that the organizers had not paid for the equipment, the venue, or the hotel expenses. Players' passports ended up with the police, and the equipment was being repossessed by the rental companies.

The tournament could have ended right there, but the teams decided they were there for some great CS, so they played on despite record delays that lasted almost 24 hours. The format of the remaining matches was changed: the lower bracket games were played as BO1, and the grand final was BO3.

The champions of Gaming Paradise 2015 were Kinguin, featuring 🇳🇴 rain and 🇧🇪 ScreaM. In the grand final, they destroyed 🇪🇺 NAVI, having the advantage of one map for advancing through the upper bracket. But, as expected, no prize money was paid out.
