They generally exist to enrich themselves by increased membership size and annual income of donations.

Pastors of these churches point to themselves as being blessed by God, due to their membership size and wealth, which then includes pastoral travel, speaking engagements and book publishing that continues to feed their egos.

They will almost never talk politics or risk losing their 501C tax exempt status or cause controversy so they never preach the hard truth, from the word of God, but a watered down prosperity gospel instead.

Remember, real Christianity is not being baptized into a religion or a particular church but unto Christ Jesus.
