How would a world work without governments and police etc?

Let's say everyone is free to roam and live where they like, what is stopping others forming armies and going around taking everything you have?
We could move into communities but then you would need to trust and appoint a leader of the community so you're back to being governed.

I'm sure you know where I'm going with this.

What is the alternative to this reality? Do we just have to learn to exist within this because its pretty much as good as we can expect?

I believe so.

I believe you can exist in this warped reality the freemasons have given us without playing the game.

The beauty of all of these is that they are free.
I'm sure we all can do at least one of these things for free at least.
