April 19, 1933 - FDR announces the US will leave the gold standard.
Citizens were instructed to turn in all gold to their nearest agency for the Federal Reserve Bank, by May 1st.
This was one of the biggest, if not the biggest, heist in history, and the U.S. taxpayer STILL pays his taxes to this fraudulent agency.
By January 1934, the gold coin in circulation in th U.S. was almost non-existent, because everyone turned in their gold, under "Executive Order" of the (p)resident.
