back in high school most of my teachers had a strict policy of no phone during lesson + the only thing that mattered for evaluating your work was what you did in school on tests and such because they would not trust eventual outside ghost help on homework that any rich kids might have had more than others to put them at an advantage and yeah in the day and age of AI this is the bare minimum lol

also if we needed a calculator we had to get a dedicated one, no phones meant no phones

they would also quiz us on essays on stuff we wrote back at home but without letting us reference the text, we had to go by memory so that they could spot anyone who copied anything from their uncertain answers about sources

WE DID IT but YOU CAN STILL SIGN IF YOU WANT (and it would still help considering some signatures will inevitably be considered invalid etc)
