We draw what they loved, and write their dreams on fabric that survived the bombing.
"Clothes That Breathe" is an art initiative born in Gaza — not merely an artwork, but a living testimony, brought to life by artists who responded to the brutality of war with paint, and to loss with life.
Each piece holds a memory, each color tells the story of a martyr.

Mohammed Sakr, from the Shuja'iyya in eastern Gaza City, speaks about his home, which was reduced to rubble, and the tent he erected on top of it to shelter him and his family. He describes the difficult reality he faces, given the lack of job opportunities and their complete dependence on aid. He calls on Palestinian factions to achieve unity, considering it the only way to achieve strength.

محمد سكر، من حي الشجاعية شرق مدينة غزة، يتحدث عن منزله الذي تحوّل إلى ركام، وعن الخيمة التي نصبها فوق أنقاضه لتأويه وعائلته. يصف الواقع الصعب الذي يعيشه في ظل انعدام فرص العمل، واعتمادهم الكامل على المساعدات، ويوجّه دعوة إلى الفصائل الفلسطينية لتحقيق الوحدة،
باعتبارها السبيل الوحيد لامتلاك القوة.

This is the entry point of the missile that blew children apart from the apartment they were staying in. Israeli warplanes targeted two residential units on Al-Sahaba Street in central Gaza City, killing seven civilians and injuring others.
