Exactly the reason why these drones need to start being shot down. They're not simply harmless surveillance drones. They are used to support harmful actions. What is America going to do in retaliation if their drones are shot down? Carry out airstrikes? Probably. But they're going to do that eventually anyway. Leaving these things up just enables America to carry out their attacks eventually anyway. And it's not like they're going to be able to milk the incident to trigger outrage anyway. No American soldier will die from shooting these things down. It's just a piece of metal. There will be little to no emotional attachment to its destruction.
