Квантовые компьютеры уже существуют, хотя до сих пор это сложные и дорогие устройства с узкой специализацией. Каждый из них во многом уникален, поэтому для них всё ещё нет единых стандартов по части программного обеспечения. Да и аппаратного, строго говоря, тоже. Все производители оборудования имеют свои собственные программные интерфейсы и инструменты. И потому логично, что для квантовых вычислительных систем нужна некая открытая операционная система. И такую уже разрабатывают.
