EXCERPT FROM SUNDAY SCHOOL OF THE SPIRIT, 15TH FEBRUARY 2026
Reference Scriptures; 2 Corinthians 3:1-17, 1 Peter 1:14, Galatians 5:25, John 16:13, Job 1:6, Romans 12:2.
• What makes your prayer effective is the fact that you know who you are. Prayer is not a 'solution formula'; it is a communion function.
• It is divinely ordained by God that nothing should be done without the anointing, every man whom God use in the Bible has always received an anointing for the work God called him/her to do.
• Liberty is not merely the absence of bondage, it is the presence of Divine enablement.
• This liberty of the Spirit doesn't produce haphazardness and promote lasciviousness, it produces:
1. Clarity of understanding
2. Freedom from internal restraints
3. Boldness in execution
4. Confidence in calling.
• Walking in God's reality is based upon embracing God's perspective. Depth is not ambiguity but clarity, it is not hiding things in secrecy, it is not being mysterious but being clear.
• God is about experience not theory. Two things are responsible for why we are not experiencing the Kingdom the way we should:
1. Lack of understanding
2. Lack of diligence
• Believers are the epistle of Christ, but they are written upon by the Servants of God. The ministry gifts are the hand and the pen of God by the Spirit of Truth writing in our hearts.
• The five-fold ministry is supposed to be God's pen inscribing His nature in us. As we listen to God's word with our hearts opened God is writing in us through the ministry gifts.
• God's righteousness is not morality, you can't operate God's righteousness and not be morally sound. God's righteousness is, first and foremost, God's character; it is how He sees, behaves, feels, thinks, and does His things.
• For the believer righteousness is not about discipline first of all, it is about nature. Righteous living is predicted upon righteous nature, until we see righteousness as our nature, living righteously will be difficult.
• The mind is not a solid reality but a formative reality and it is formed by exposure through the senses. If our minds are not renewed, we will downplay the manifestations of the supernatural.
• Renewal of the mind is not repairing the mind but renovating it(destroying the mindset of the flesh) by replacing it with the mindset of the Spirit.
• Spirituality is also a functional concept. As a believer you are in the spirit by nature not in the flesh, carnality is not your nature, but he/she can be functioning carnally.
• Your inner image must not be according to the external image that this world shows you, you must see from within who God has made you in Christ.
• The power to change this World is found in the realisation of the believer's identity in Christ. Until we learn how to live from identity, conformity will not be an option.
• Our spirit is the realm where God's thoughts flow in and from. Our spirit is galvanised by the thoughts of God.
• If you don't understand how you were designed to function by God, you will be limited in walking in the supernatural and operating in the anointing.
• The context of accurately interpreting what God is saying, is understanding what He has said in the scriptures and much revelation will necessitate much praying because it will take both to function in the kingdom.
