In 2015, The Wall Street Journal exposed a covert Israeli espionage campaign targeting US-Iran nuclear negotiations—one of the most sensitive diplomatic efforts of the decade.
Israel reportedly intercepted confidential talks & leaked details to US Congress to sabotage the deal.
Mossad monitored closed-door talks between US officials and Iran in Austria & Switzerland. The US counterintelligence even warned diplomats about possible Israeli WIRETAPS.
Israel obtained intel from European diplomats involved in the negotiations, with classified documents passed to Israeli intel, according to reports.
In 2018, Mossad agents infiltrated a secret Tehran warehouse, stealing 100,000+ documents related to Iran’s past nuclear weapons research (codenamed Project Amad).
The files allegedly proved Iran pursued weaponization before 2003, though U.S. intel was already aware of much of this information.
Netanyahu used this to pressure Trump into killing the deal — despite no evidence of current violations.
