This is an example of why media and the Internet and tv is brain rot. For decades, pawpaw would take you down to the town hall, to listen to some other kid's pawpaw lay out the facts. And as a kid, you'd be surrounded by a community that thinks and acts alike, that agrees on the source of the problem.

It's much easier for people to take action when they believe their neighbors support them. Not so much even if all the Internet strangers do.
