A guy cycled past me today and said “Now there is a handsome man” for no reason at all other than to be nice. Perhaps he read this post, but that makes one of the only 3 times I’ve ever been complimented as an adult. Women - outside of the ones you’re dating/married to - will never compliment men out of prudence because it will be mistaken for flirtation. Men will never do so because of faux machismo. We should change that
