When 88 year old men are in hospital beds and get pneumonia it’s not good. Pneumonia is still - in a macabrely affectionate way - called “Old man’s friend” because it’s usually what kills you. Brace for impact and pray for papa.

22 So Paul, standing in the midst of the Areopagus, said: "Men of Athens, I perceive that in every way you are very religious.
23 For as I passed along and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription: 'To the unknown god.' What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you.

It is better to be punished and cleansed now than to be sent to the torment to come, when it will be time for punishing only, and not for cleansing.

“Babe just manifest what you want and the universe will grant it”

Hear me, ye faithless generation; if the universe is not just all that exists and is a sentient entity which cares about its children and grants wishes at your behest, would it not create rules? What parent rules without rules? How would they keep their children - whom they love - safe? The rules would be written and widely spoken out of the same love which - to use your own word - manifested itself to write them; this is the Gospel of the LORD.

You claim that energy moves throughout the world; you have merely reinstated the HOLY spirit and robbed Him of the dignity of His title and exalted yourselves as gods in your pride to make yourself rule over the universe and command instead of petition. You do not know your right hand from your left and you are trying to serve two masters.

You have recreated the true and living God, and with your own hands made an idol of bronze and stone in its place which have ears that do not hear and eyes that do not see. You crafted for yourself a sentient universe which cares enough to grant your desires and whims but not enough to keep you from that which is evil. You have attempted to reconstruct God but taken out of Him the love which says “Do not do evil”, you have recreated God but cherry picked the parts you like and have taken out “There are things which you are not allowed to do, because I love you”. You have enthroned your idol in place of God and the wishful thinking in place of prayer. Repent of your folly and your foolish ways, o’ Israel, or suffer her fate likewise and be scattered among the nations to be erased and desolated beyond repair.

The Kingdom of God is at hand; Repent and believe the Gospel.

"By this our decree, to be valid IN PERPETUITY, we determine and order that NEVER shall anything be added to, omitted from, or changed in this Missal. . .At no time in the future can a priest, whether secular or order priest, ever be forced to use any other way of saying Mass. And so as to preclude once and for all any scruples of conscience and fear of ecclesiastical penalties and censures, we herewith declare that it is in virtue of our Apostolic Authority that we decree and determine that this our present order and decree is to last in PERPETUITY and can never be legally revoked or amended at a future date. . . And if anyone would nevertheless ever dare to attempt any action contrary to this order of ours, given for all times, let him know that he has incurred the wrath of Almighty God and of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul."
St Pope Pius V July 19 1570

1. Popes who have passed on to their eternal reward cannot bind future popes to positive laws, only that which pertains to divine revelation (or that which is deduced from it, or directly pertaining to it, etc) can be made binding upon future popes. To say otherwise would mean that popes are able to restrict future popes from fully expressing their papal powers as outlined in CIC 331 (1917 CIC 218 §1-2), powers which come directly from God. Also see CIC 20 (1917 CIC 22) which establishes how legal abrogation works in church law.

2. Dr. James Likoudis (requiescat in pace) in his book points out that elsewhere in Quo Primum, his holiness St. Pius V says he is establishing he is forbidding alterations of the missal to "patriarch, administrator, and all other persons of whatever ecclesiastical dignity they may be, even cardinals of the Holy Roman Church" Which notably stops at cardinals, neglecting to attempt to bind future popes (See Attached Image #1).

3. Pope St. Pius V's successors did not read him as completely banning any and all liturgical development for all time. Novel liturgical formulae for feasts (read: liturgical additions), dispensations, and privileges were managed by Pope Sixtus V's Congregation of Rites which he established in 1588 (It must be fairly noted, however, that these changes mostly surrounded the liturgy and covered various particularities, I do not mean to exaggerate that they were making large core rubric mods). Popes Clement VIII, Urban VIII, and Pius XII all made minor liturgical changes which at least prohibit the strictest reading of Quo Primum (See Attached Image #2 & #3).

4. Pius V's Apostolic Constitution "Quod a Vobis" which did to the Roman Breviary what Quo Primum did to the Mass, used similar language to that of Quo Primum, yet this did not stop Pope St. Pius X (ora pro nobis) from making his Breviary reform in 1911 (See Attach Image #4 for a scuffed machine translation of the relevant segment of Quod a Vobis that I manually transcribed, emphasis added). Dr. Likoudis points out that the final paragraphs of Quo Primum and Quod a Vobis, which condemn anything contravening the document as incurring the wrath of God and the apostles, are identical.

Forwarded from Pinesap🌲🍯🇻🇦
I still remember returning to my spiritual father to confess all I had said about Pope Francis, the way I had slandered and spoke ill of our holy father. He asked me "Pinesap, do you still want to be Catholic", and I said "With all my heart", and spoke the words of absolution. There was no greater feeling than being forgiven for speaking so horribly about Papa, and the moment the absolution was spoken, the sun crested over the mountains one last time, and I knew God was there. I vowed to be always faithful to Peter from that day forward.

The term "Catholic guilt" is so stupid to anyone who lives in a Catholic environment.

Yes, I killed the only being in the entire history of existence that did not deserve being killed for any reason whatsoever.

You're damn right I'm gonna remember that.
