But how would we know Christ at all if he had no been born into the world? And how would he be born without a mother? And how could God have allowed himself to be incarnated in the womb of a sinner? And so in Mary we have the perfect Christian. The perfect servent of God by whose immaculate conception and utter devotion to God she was given the gift to bear Christ himself in her womb. This is what was meant when it is said “As he said these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to him, “Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts at which you nursed!” But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!” It is therefore legitimate to venerate the blessed Virgin and to appreciate her devotion and by her example to draw ourself closer to her son.
Which is why we say “Hail Mary (as the Angel Gabriel greeted her, not words of worship) full of Grace (immaculate conception) the Lord is with thee! Blessed art thou among women (she is greater than all other women by having the unique holiness to bear God himself) and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus! Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners (as she can of course do since Christ promised eternal life, which his mother surely received upon death. The intercession of the Virgin Mary is powerful and we can see example of this during the wedding feast in Cana) now and at the hour of our death.”

People always be like “God can’t exist because of X” but they never pray to God to help them understand why X exists. First and foremost they do not want to believe and retrofit logic to their faithlessness because they are too attached to their sin.

POPE FRANCIS ON CONFESSION
“Someone can say, ‘I confess my sins only to God.’ Yes, you can say to God, ‘forgive me,’ and
say your sins. But our sins are also against our brothers, against the Church. This is why it is
necessary to ask forgiveness of the Church and of our brothers, in the person of the Priest
. . . Forgiveness is not something we can give ourselves.”
"[Someone may say:] Father, I am embarrassed! Even embarrassment is good. It’s healthy to
have a bit of shame... it does us good, because it makes us more humble. Don’t be afraid of
confession . . . When someone is in line for confession he feels all these things - even shame -
but then, when he finishes confessing, he leaves (feeling) free, great, beautiful, forgiven,
clean, happy. The sacrament of reconciliation is a sacrament of healing."
"Be courageous, and go to confession."
