I have been thinking for some time that one of the most important aspects of Catholicism and evangelism in the modern era must focus on Human Sexuality. Whenever you speak to somebody and say you are Catholic, I’d wager 70% of the time you get an unfavourable response it’s something to do with sex “Why no sex before marriage” “Why does God hate gays” “I masturbate does that mean you think I’m going to burn in hell?” And often even if it’s not, it’s very often the sin which is holding them back to being open minded, even if they don’t state it explicitly. I also feel a lot of Catholics on the online sphere make a big deal of it and oftentimes misunderstand it or even feel it is inherently disgusting (Groypers are quite notorious for this) which is a point I have made many times before.

Human sexuality is a massive part of modern culture and the world, I would postulate this is because sexuality is the only aspect of a Godless world in which secular people find any sense of sacrality, meaning, purpose and transcendence. That being said as Catholics we need to devote a lot of our catechesis and personal formation into sexual ethics and theology of the body. This being the case please vote in this poll.

15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. 16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

I have known many happy marriages, but never a compatible one. The whole aim of marriage is to fight through and survive the instant when incompatibility becomes unquestionable. For a man and a woman, as such, are incompatible”

"On October 1, Pope Leo XIV greeted a group of Brazilian Amazon indigenous, who gifted him with maracas, a ritual instrument used to communicate with spirits. Leo XIV shook the maracas, which is a small step that leads toward public pagan idolatry."

“Having the memory of those who preceded us at heart, treasuring the traditions that have led us to be what we are is important to look at the present and the future with awareness, serenity, responsibility and a sense of perspective.”

'In recent decades, as we know, Europe has witnessed a significant decline in the birth rate. This requires a commitment to promoting family-friendly choices at various levels, supporting their efforts, promoting their values, and protecting their needs and rights.

"Father," "mother," "son," "daughter," "grandfather," and "grandmother" are, in the Italian tradition, words that naturally express and evoke feelings of love, respect, and dedication, sometimes heroic, to the good of the domestic community and therefore to that of society as a whole.

In particular, I would like to emphasize the importance of ensuring all families the essential support of dignified employment, under fair conditions and with attention to the needs of motherhood and fatherhood. Let us do everything we can to give confidence to families, especially young families, so that they can look to the future with serenity and grow in harmony'

Pope Leo XIV
