O Lord Most High, Eternal Father of lights,
behold us in this hour of desolation, when the life of Thy servant Charlie has been rent from this world in cruelty and violence. The sun still shone upon the earth, the day was full of life, yet death struck him in its cruelest form, in broad daylight, before the eyes of men. His blood was poured out upon the ground, and with it our hearts were pierced, as though the veil of peace were torn in two.
O Christ Jesus, Son of the Living God,
Thou too wast betrayed by hatred, dragged before mockers, and slain under the open sky, that innocence might wear the crown of shame. Look, then, with mercy upon Charlie, who has walked the road of life amidst strife and was brought down by the malice of others. Be Thou his defender now, his Advocate before the throne of justice, his ransom before the face of the Father.
O God of justice, delay not Thy judgment.
Let not the wicked escape unpunished,
nor let the hand that shed innocent blood go free. Strike terror into the heart of the evildoer, that he may know Thy wrath is terrible, and Thy law cannot be mocked. If he repent not, let his days be cut short,
let shame and destruction overtake him, and let the snare he laid for others ensnare him in return.

18 And he was sore athirst, and called on the Lord, and said, Thou hast given this great deliverance into the hand of thy servant: and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised? 19 But God clave an hollow place that was in the jaw, and there came water thereout; and when he had drunk, his spirit came again, and he revived: wherefore he called the name thereof Enโhakkore, which is in Lehi unto this day.
