🇧🇷🥩 Russia Becomes the 4th Largest Buyer of Brazilian Meat

In November 2025, Russia’s imports of meat from Brazil reached $78.6 million, marking the highest monthly level in the past 11 years.
This figure represents an almost eightfold increase year-on-year.

📊 As a result, Russia ranked 4th among the largest importers of Brazilian meat, trailing only:
1️⃣ China
2️⃣ United States
3️⃣ Mexico

🔍 What’s driving the growth:
• Continued reorientation of Russia’s foreign trade toward Latin America
Competitive pricing and reliable supply volumes from Brazilian producers
• Strong demand from meat processors and retail chains

📈 The trend highlights Brazil’s growing role as a strategic meat supplier to the Russian market and reflects ongoing import diversification in Russia’s agri-food sector.

📉 Russia’s Inflation Is Slowing Faster Than Expected

Russia’s inflation rate is declining ahead of the Central Bank’s forecast, moving closer to the official target level.

📊 Lower inflation brings:
• More stable pricing
• Improved purchasing power
• Better planning for importers
• Reduced currency volatility

📦 What this means for exporters:
As inflation eases, Russian buyers become more confident in long-term contracts, restocking, and expanding imports — especially in food, chemicals, consumer goods, and industrial supplies.

📈 A more predictable market creates new opportunities for foreign suppliers looking to enter or expand in Russia.
