KWARAPOLY COMMENCES 2021/22 ADMISSION PLACEMENT ON SCHOOL PORTAL

Authorities of the Kwara state polytechnic, Ilorin had rolled out the first batch of admission list for HND Applicants for the 2021/22 session.

This is coming barely a few hours after some Applicants noticed the changes on their School portal.

The polytechnic, which was known as one of the fastest polytechnics In Nigeria had rolled out the first batch of the Admission list a few days after the release of the Applicant screening result.

To meet up with the academic calendar for the new session, the management wishes to inform the HND Applicants to keep a close tab on their portal to be notified should In case any changes occur.

The newly admitted students are urged to make payment of the Acceptance fee as soon as possible after being offered provisional admission.

The deadline pegged for the payment of the acceptance fee will display on the candidate profile.

To check your admission status, you are urged to visit the institution's website and include the Username and the password.

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the 2021 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) Internal Result.
Candidates can now visit the board's website to check their results.

How To Check NECO Results

(1) Visit the NECO Result page: https://result.neco.gov.ng/

(2) Select your Exam Year and Type.

(3) Enter the 12 digits token number and your exam registration number.

(4) Click on ‘check result’ and wait for examination results to be displayed on the screen.

Note: One token can be used a maximum of 5 times. After this limit, you will need to purchase a new token to view results again.

NECO RELEASES RESULT, STATISTICS OF 2021 SSCE INTERNAL

The National Examination Council, NECO, has released the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination, SSCE, (internal) with a total of 878,925 candidates scoring credits and above including Mathematics and English Language, representing 71.64 percent.
When compared with the 2020 SSCE figure of 894,101 representing 73.89 percent, there is a decrease of 2.25 percent.

Announcing the release of the results, the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of NECO, Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, said a total of 1,233,631 registered, while 1,226,796 sat for the examination.

He explained that candidates who made five credits and above irrespective of English Language and Mathematics are 1,226,796 representing 94.04 percent.
Also, when compared with the 2020 SSCE figure of 1,112,041 representing 91.91 percent, there is an increase of 2.13 percent.

According to him, a total of 20,003 candidates were involved in various exams malpractices, representing 1.63 percent, compared to 33,470 representing 2.61 percent cases recorded in 2020.

He further attributed the delay in the release of the results to both internal and external candidates to challenges facing the organization. Candidates can now access their results on the NECO website.

How To Check NECO Results

1. Go to NECO result checking portal at www.result.neco.gov.ng

2. Pick your exam year. i.e. 2021

3. Pick your exam type. i.e. SSCE INTERNAL (JUN/JUL)

4. Enter your Token Number and Registration Number in the appropriate columns.

5. Finally, Click on check result button to access your NECO result.

UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS (UNILAG) ONLINE POST-UTME SCREENING DATE, GUIDELINES 2021/2022

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) management has announced the schedule and the guidelines for the conduct of the 2021/2022 academic session post UTME screening exercise.

Candidates can start checking their POST-UTME test scheduled dates and times. They are also advised to regularly check their e-mail inboxes for this and other important pieces of information.

The University of Lagos 2021/2022 Post-UTME aptitude test will commence from Monday 1st to Friday 5th November 2021.

Below are the Examination Instructions:

(1) This is a competitive qualifying aptitude test. Candidates must comport themselves accordingly. Candidates are advised to have a reliable internet connection before attempting the online aptitude test.

(2) Your activities during the period of the aptitude test will be monitored and recorded. Candidates will be required to attempt the test with a webcam and microphone enabled device. (For optimal experience, use of mobile phones for the aptitude test is discouraged).

(3) Candidates are forbidden from covering their webcams during the period of the aptitude test. Our inability to see the candidate at any time during the test may result in disqualification.

(4) During the aptitude test, you are not permitted to leave your position. You are advised to adequately prepare before commencing the test.

(5) In the course of the aptitude test, you are not permitted to leave the test tab for another tab or application on the computer for any reason, not even to use the computer calculator. Departure from the test tab may result in disqualification.

(6) Nobody is permitted to be around you during the period of the test, not even members of your family. You will be disqualified if anybody is seen around you during the test.

(7) The duration of the aptitude test is 30 minutes. The time starts to count immediately you click the start button and continues to count even if you log out before your 30 minutes lapses.

(8) Do not read your questions out during the aptitude test. This will result to disqualification.

(9) In the event that you run out of time, your aptitude test will automatically be submitted.

(10) Use of face mask, face caps, earpiece, or headphones during the test is prohibited.

(11) Candidates should note that they can ONLY LOG IN on their scheduled date and time.

Kindly note that recommended browser versions to use during the test is: Google Chrome 86, Mozilla Firefox 84, or later.

AUCHI POLYTECHNIC ANNOUNCES SALES OF 2021/22 POST-UTME APPLICATION FORM

Auchi Polytechnic hereby notifies all candidates who took the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and chose Auchi Polytechnic as their 1st or 2nd choice that they are to apply for POST-UTME using the following guidelines:

APPLICATION CONDITION
1. All candidates must have taken the 2021 UTME and with a minimum score of 120.

2. Candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes at one sitting or six (6) credit passes at two sittings including English Language and Mathematics in SSCE, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB.

3. All candidates are required to pay the sum of Two Thousand (#2,000) Naira as a POST-UTME CBT screening fee

4. All candidates are required to apply online by visiting the Polytechnic's portal at www.auchipoly-online.com to complete the online application form after making payment (N2,000) with the generated Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).

METHOD OF PAYMENT

1. Visit the Polytechnic's website at www.auchipoly-online.com and click on Admissions 2021/2022 to initiate the application process.

2. Fill in the required details. Use your UTME registration number as your username and your phone number as a password preferably.

DO NOT USE THE CYBERCAFE PHONE NUMBER OR EMAIL FOR YOUR APPLICATION. THIS WILL MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE SCH0OL TO CONTACT SUCH CANDIDATES WHEN THE NEED ARISES. THE POLYTECHNIC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CANDIDATE'S INABILITY TO RECEIVE RELEVANT INFORMATION

3. Generate the REMITA payment invoice (RRR) from the Polytechnic portal and proceed to any of the designated payment channels (Bank) to make payment. Skye Bank (Polaris), Ecobank, UBA, Fidelity Bank

4. Proceed to the Polytechnic portal to complete the online application. Ensure that you upload all your relevant credentials as required and complete the online eligibility clearance form if requested.

This is to inform the general public that registration for the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME)/Direct Entry Screening Tests of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike MOUAU has commenced.

ELIGIBILITY: All candidates who scored 160 and above in the 2021/2022 UTME examinations and made Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike their first choice are eligible.

Candidates who want to change into any of the programmes of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike should immediately apply through the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) of JAMB. Interested candidates for MICROBIOLOGY are informed that the programme now has full accreditation by National Universities Commission (NUC).

To register, candidates must proceed as follows:

2. Click on the 2020/2021 Admission Screening banner.

3. Enter a valid email address and phone number for record purposes.

4. Input JAMB Registration number. This leads you to the Remita payment platform where an RRR number is generated with which payment of two thousand naira (N2000.00) will be made. Payment can be made by debit/credit card or by taking your RRR number to any bank nationwide and deposit cash. Return to the Website to continue your registration.

6. Register by filling an online Application form and selecting proposed Department and other requisite details.

7. Candidates are required to input their O’Level qualifying details for WAEC/NECO/NABTEB results obtained in not more than two sittings, Type of Exam, Year of Result, Scratch card details (PIN and Serial Number on the card) as well as upload any results submitted for screening to their JAMB profiles on JAMB CAPS to qualify for admission (Note: The upload of O’level results to JAMB CAPS must be done in JAMB CBT accredited centers).

8. Fetch result from examining body (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB)

9. Confirm that the WAEC/NECO/NABTEB result fetched is correct before submission of form.

10. Kindly note that O’Level results and number of sittings are weighted.

11. Candidates awaiting 2021 WAEC/NECO results are advised not to register until these results are available, to avoid the need for updates.
Note: Some fields are prefilled and cannot be changed.

13. Fill the form, submit and take print-out after executing the Submit button. System sends a copy of submitted form to your email for record purposes.

14. Kindly note that the University is not liable for any wrong information entered by candidates.
