One of the custom made watchfaces, recently made by me, is METRO 2033 inspired one!
This watchface was created in close cooperation with @watchevac
Simple and straightforward, just a carefully remastered of the original watch from that popular game.
It's available now, so you probably would be interested to test it out. In the comments below I'll attach some photos of the watchface for MIP and AMOLED watches (with AOD mode).

The original Venu was the first Connect IQ device with an AMOLED screen and introduced the heuristics to avoid screen burn-in. Newer devices allow watch faces to keep the screen on in “Always On” mode if the screen is using less than 10% of the display pixels.
With API level 5.0.0, Garmin is updating the heuristic from one based on pixels to one based on luminance. Now the screen will stay on if the display is using less than 10% of the total luminance. This allows developers to use more pixels for AOD mode.
This and other features of new Connect IQ System 7 which will be supported by at least Epix 2 Pro.

In details: it's harder and harder to maintain applications for older devices such as Vivoactive 3, Fenix 5/5 Plus and even Fenix 6 can be counted as an outdated device in terms of supported API features. If I refuse to support these and some other devices for my new projects I will be able to make much more advanced applications with more powerful graphics and so on and so forth. But I don't want to offend the users of these watch models.
So I do want to make it clear for myself how many users still use such 'outdated in terms of API' watches (they are great by itself, though!) to make a hard decision.

The most beautiful AOD mode for AMOLED watches I've ever seen is in the watchface I've just released. Sorry for my immodesty, haha :)

Long time no see 👋🏻
Don't think I've disappeared completely. I've been working on a lot of Garmin related projects for the last couple of months. Some of you already know about this. I'm going to make this year a very productive one for all of us. Lots of cool new watch faces for you, and lots of fun work for me!
I hope to announce new projects related to mapping on our favorite watches soon, as well as more opportunities to purchase my works.
And while I'm busy with these projects, people continue to periodically order custom watch faces from me. One of them is on your screens. And it will be ready soon!

Bad news.
Some of you after firmware update of your watch come across that many watchfaces stopped to work.
Fast fix: remove "Location" data-field or set up OpenWeatherMap instead of Garmin Weather, it makes them working again.
Bad news is that this is not temporary bug of the firmware but the intentional deprecation of this functionality by Garmin. It won't work again in the future, most probably.
If you still have an older firmware on your watch which still works with "Location" data-field with Garmin Weather and you really need it - DO NOT update your firmware.
