It’s funny bc they claim if they say this on TikTok they’d get more support there than here but that’s generally not true. If you’ve ever been on spaces like tiktok and even Pinterest, you’d see many people actually make trends of drawing your ocs in references and most of the times, their versions are traced over the og art. And no one really cares because it’s just a trend + the tracing is done over irl people and not pre existing art. And even if it is pre existing art like very old art from the 40’s and 60’s that’s been trending recently, majority always give credit to the og artists of that time.

You’d get zero support from TikTok. They’d fucking point and laugh at you there because the average tiktok artist does trends revolving around using references and tracing from irl people
