Everyone sees Bucky as the infamous white wolf. He’ll snarl at you, claw at you and attack you until he’s done with you but deep inside, he’s just a puppy. Not in the “cute” way or anything but in the way that he’s a kicked puppy who’s still so loyal, just waiting there to the side, hoping maybe this time, someone will pick me up and not leave me like the other times. And Quinn can see that.

She’ll claw you and scratch you but she’s only doing it because of how she’s been treated. You can’t blame her. But deep inside, she’s a deer. A fawn, to be exact. A fawn that’s just lost, and yet a trigger is aimed at her forehead. Deep inside, she hopes you don’t shoot. She hopes you approach her maybe with open arms, and a warm place to sleep in. And Bucky can see that.
