The reason why ai art is genuinely so hated on here is so freeeaaaking obvious that people who USE ai know it. They admit to knowing it.

Let’s say you don’t give two shits about the environment and the water it used to generate even one picture. Do you care about your future? Peoples jobs? Because it’s getting to a point that so many talented artists that have worked their asses off going to schools trying their hardest to get accepted and appreciated in a very competitive field are literally being removed from their jobs due to companies favoring ai over them. Projects keep getting scrapped because of ai usage. Not even on art and cinematography which again, real life artists have put their souls into, but writers as well who spend so much creativity and time only for ai scripts to be favored over theirs.

Also let’s not forget how OpenAI systems CONSCIOUSLY attacked ANOTHER ai system without order. Do you know how scary that is.

People who don’t know what impact art has don’t know how much it means to others.

I put my soul and emotions into my pieces because I’m genuinely happy to draw. It’s a hobby and I’d like to even go professional in the future… and there’s so many platforms like Pinterest who artists have posted on (which unfortunately even Pinterest is succumbing to the ai overload) but nonetheless there’s STILL art on there made from real life people or PICTURES taken by real people you are completely 100% free to use. Ai MAKES you wait. You literally need to have subscriptions for ai platforms to generate more than three images. Why even torture yourself with that when Pinterest has NO LIMIT.
