So like her real name ain’t even Isha. Constance just named her that. You see, Isha was captured by the antimatter legion when they invaded her home planet, took her and she got infected with the antimatter and the Destruction from the antimatter legion yada yada yada you know how it goes, she got taken by Duke Inferno made into a soldier before she was let go as a soldier and instead made a prisoner for trying to defy the legion. Duke Inferno, having Constance as her favorite child, decided to gift anything she wanted to her on her birthday. Constance picked the ex-soldier who was working in the Everflame Mansion to be her personal guard.

When Constance betrayed the Legion and burned down the Mansion, the only thing she took with her was Isha. Purely because she realized she could use this somewhat infected woman to her advantage. She could store memories inside of her. Memories she could discard - which is everything that went against the Garden of Recollection.
Of course, when you’re fed so many trashed memories, traumatic ones no less, you start losing yourself. Little by little, Isha was no longer the stubborn soldier who wished to defy the legion, because she really couldn’t feel anything anymore. No hint of emotion, empathy or guilt. Slowly, she lost any shine in her eyes, and she even started to forget words and vocabulary because of how many memories were given to her like a dumpster can.
The side of her face was already burned from what she faced as a soldier, and that same side of her face was infected with antimatter and the Destruction, making its flesh entirely different than the right side of her face which only had a few scars. When she still worked under Duke Inferno, she was given a mask to hide her “hideousness”, and one strict rule was she could never accompany Her Ladyship, Lady Constance, without her mask. A rule that Constance found oddly ridiculous. Isha still prefers to wear the mask however.
When The Dahlia was made an enemy of the Garden, so was her hound dog. To anyone else other than her employer, the one she was guarding, she was Raven. A mere assassin who unfortunately worked for that devilish woman. Most of the Memokeepers felt pity for Isha. She wasn’t harmless by any means - quite the opposite. But it’s hard not to feel pity for someone who’s so locked in the chains of someone as… well, Constance…, that they don’t even yearn for freedom anymore. Isha never had it, so she might as well get comfortable in her chains of being a guard dog and a bin for discarded memories.

All you need to know is their relationship is anything BUT healthy it’s extremely codependent and toxic beyond words but based on The Dahlias entire lore and personality I really didn’t have much room for healthy relationships here😭
