The aerial view of a fallen tree in the Aboriginal region of Minang Boodja in Western Australia's South West reminded photographer Julie Kenny of the Tree of Life, a powerful symbol in many cultures around the world.
"From this vantage point," says Kenny, "you can see small pools of water that have collected in the sheep tracks above the tree, reflecting the blue of the sky. The overall effect is one of renewal and connection."
