CHANGEOVER TOUR lands in Berlin on July 4 🗺
For one night, Neue Zukunft turns into a meeting point for punk, noise, experimental electronics, jazz-punk, drone, doomgaze, psych kraut and everything that usually falls between genre labels.
Lineup:
• св. Псета — Extremely energetic and tense live shows, emotionally draining yet therapeutically liberating at the same time.
• Uličnedžukele — recently upgraded their setup as a three-piece, this instrumental art-punk band from Belgrade will stir you into unrest, then comfort you into finding inner peace.
• Kӣr — an alias of composer and curator Bane Jovančević, one of the key figures of the Serbian experimental electronic scene. Drone and post-industrial layers with Balkan folk elements, creating a distinctive soundscape.
• ACHRE — a newly shaped trio project of Sunfear, Cryerr and R. Miro. ACHRE plays doomgaze, drone metal, ambient-doom — labels that sound important until the feedback starts eating them.
• shoom — Dutch jazz-punk instrumental quartet, drawing influences from Black Midi to Charlie Parker into loud, bizarre, fever-dream action.
• MENK — psych kraut duo with the stoner touch, known for unique blend of dual guitar and bass lines and exceptional drumming, and rich psychedelic textures.

It is not unusual, but rather the norm, that the people behind Berlin's DIY concert scene are musically active themselves. Over the years, they have all developed remarkable forms of expression as artists, but have often taken a back seat in favor of their organizational activities. Frictive Frequencies now brings the artistic side of the organizers to the fore. The series sees itself not only as a forum for improvised music, but also as a place for communication and exchange about DIY practices.

Jedes Jahr verwandelt sich Neukölln in einen Erlebnisraum für Kunst, wenn über 1000 Künstler*innen in Ateliers, Bars, Spätis, leerstehenden Geschäftsflächen, Parks und weiteren ausgefallenen Veranstaltungsorten ihre Kunst der Öffentlichkeit kostenfrei für 48 Stunden präsentieren.
