Hyper-Casualization is a more recent cultural movement that has come as a response or counter to Hyper-Sensitization. Because of how much conversations where not being had because people believed the "conversations where to serious to be had lightly", there came a counter movement to treat conversations as casual as possible. While this allowed people to discuss their impairments or difficulties without having to be turn into an "inspiration" or a "role model for their kind", it also meant people who didn't understand the severity of these impairments or difficulties started using their terms in casual speak.
Some examples of these are:
"I'm so OCD" when a person wants a room to be clean
"I have ADHD" when a person occasionally finds difficulty focusing
"I'm having Intrusive thoughts" when people are having IMPULSIVE thoughts
"He's a narcissist" when talking about an occasionally selfish person
"Why are you gaslighting me" when they are confused
"I'm so bipolar *cutely*" when they are unwilling to be held responsible for their actions and quickly shifting emotions
Also as shown in some of these examples, the hyper-casual approach to mental health has allowed technical words to be weaponized by some people for their own interests. These results in people who wish to discuss their struggles or seek for help having to filter out all the people who are misusing terms and resources (benign or otherwise).
These 2 movements on their own have made important discussions that need to be had about mental health very difficult to have. What even more unfortunate is these movements together end up creating a third movement: Hyper-Rejection. People who see the ways in which these movements fall flat, without understand why, reject both movements extremely, to the point where they even reject people with disabilities needs and their disabilities themselves.
"You don't really need that wheelchair, do you?"
"All you need is discipline!"
"Your not some charity case, get over yourself!"

So what am I suggesting needs to happen in order for us to actually improve conditions and have these difficult discussions that need to be had. As individuals I believe there are three things we can do to help ourselves and those who we care about.

1st. Be empathetic: We need to learn to understand what people are going through and how we could help them. This could also mean researching about the things we want to understand, discuss with other people who either have direct or indirect experience. Curiosity is key here, learn to listen, even if what is being said may go against what you currently understand or believe. You can form your opinions later, once you have a base understanding.
2nd. Be active: Symbolic support is pointless if there is no real action being done, we can directly help those we can or work to better conditions for those who cant. The goal is to make life better for us and them through direct action or inclusive construction.
3rd. Advocate: This can mean either educating those who are ignorant, fighting off those who are dismissive, or simply speaking about what you have learnt and started doing.

All of these are as important to do for yourself as they are for others. Love yourself, Act for yourself and Advocate for yourself.

I truly believe a better life is possible for all of use and so I hope that we can work towards it and see each other at the other side.

TL;DR
In an attempt to normalize mental health, we accidently made it taboo again. I argue that Hyper-Sensitization and Hyper-Casualization (two social/cultural movements to normalize mental health) have ended up making mental health even more difficult to manage.

That was abuse?!
Mental Health Sundays

Abuse comes in many forms, more forms than you would even assume. In todays MHS, id like to go through some of the more common yet accepted forms of abuse.

Silent treatment: the deliberate avoiding of eye contact and verbal communication. Silence is a common defense mechanism, but silent treatment is a deliberate choosing of silence for the goal of causing the target distress. Many studies show that continued use of silent treatment has an extremely negative effect on the targets psychological health.

Love bombing: excessive displays of affection, more than is what is normal, towards a person. While displays of affection can be momentary and at some moments outshine the norm, in lovebombing the displays are made to be overwhelming by design. The intent is to hide or divert the targets attention from previous grievences or violations of trust.

Fear based Manipulation: inducing fear in a target to control their behaviour. This is a more common form of manipulation over the abuse based manipulation (manipulation through either physical harm or threat of physical harm). This manipulation uses power imbalance in relationships to create fear that is then used to control the target.

Conditional love: When ones affection or attention to another is based on one's interest. Inconsistent affection triggers that part of our brain that causes addiction. This added on the conditions for affection results in extreme manipulation.

There are obviosly more types of common abuses, and the ones above are shortened for the sake of brevity. Ultimately its important to understand: Even if someones behaviours is societly accepted, it can still be harmful and its important to protect oneself from it.

I have something to say bout an anime
Witch Hat Attelier

Starting from the first episode I immediatly saw that the anime was using 3d animation with really good 2d rendering

this has been done before, but not in the shear quantity id imagine witch hat attelier uses it

chances are a majority of all characters ever use 3d animations

which could explain how were getting a second season so fast with such an amazing level of fidelity
apparently my doctor sells tvs

he gave me a reciept for an 80HD

Heaven's case still haunts me. I remember signing a petition back then too. However, our legal system seems to misunderstand that it is only her who had been wronged.

This is the least we can do. But let's do it. And in due time, we will be louder.

Fuck the men who continue to be more barbaric than a prehistoric rock, and the law which keeps emancipating them. Things are so bad that the next petition that comes up is for criminalizing marital rape 🤦‍♂
