መጋቢት 19 ጀምሮ እስከ ዛሬ መጋቢት 22/2016ዓ.ም ለሶስት ተከታታይ ቀናት ከአስራ ሁለት ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች በመጡ ተሳታፊዎች ሲካሄድ የነበረዉ የአምሳለ ችሎት ዉድድር በዛሬዉ ዕለት ለፍጻሜ በቀረቡት በድሬዳዋ ዩኒቨርሲቲ እና በሰላሌ ዩኒቨርሲቲ መካከል በተደረገዉ የፍጻሜ ክርክር በድሬዳዋ ዩኒቨርሲቲ አሸናፊነት ፍጻሜዉን አግኝቷል።
በዚህ መጠቃለያ መርሃ ግብር ላይ ከፌደራል ፍትህና ህግ ኢንስቲትዩት፣ ከቤኒሻንጉል ጉሙዝ ክልላዊ መንግስት መስሪያ ቤቶች ጉዳዩ የሚመለከታቸዉ ና ጥሪ የተደረገላቸው አመራሮች፣ ከተለያዩ ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች የመጡ የህግ ምሁራን፣ የአሶሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ከፍተኛና መካከለኛ አመራሮች እና ተማሪዎች ተሳትፈዋል።
በመርሃ ግብሩ የእንኳን ደህና መጣችሁ ንግግር ያደረጉት የአሶሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የአካዳሚክ ጉዳዮች ም/ፕሬዚዳንት ዶ/ር መልካሙ ደሬሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲው ይህን መርሃ ግብር ለማዘጋጀት ከሶስተኛ ትዉልድ ዩኒቨርስቲዎች የመጀመሪያ በመሆኑ የሚያስደስት እንደሆነ ጠቁመዉ የዘንድሮው መከራከሪያ ርዕስ የባህር በር በህጋዊ መልክ ለማገኘት የሚደረግ ጭብጥ በመሆኑ ወቅታዊ ሀገራዊ ጉዳይ በመሆኑም ልዩ የሚያደርገው እንደሆነ ተናግረዋል።
በተመሳሳይ መልኩ የፌዴራል የፍትህና ህግ ኢንሰቲትዩት ም/ዋና ዳይሬክተር አቶ ዘካሪያስ ኤርኮላ ስለ አምሳለ ችሎት ክርክር ጠቀሜታ ሲያብራሩ በዓለም አቀፍ መድረክ ጭምር የሀገራቸዉን ጉዳይ ይዘዉ መከራከር የሚችሉ የህግ ባለሙያዎችን ለማፍራት የሚረዳ እንደሆነ ገልጸዋል።
በዚህ ዉድድር ላይ ከአድስ አበባ፣ ከሰላሌ፣ ከደብረ ማሪቆስ፣ ከወሎ፣ ሀሮምያ፣ ከአሶሳ፣ ከሀዋሳ፣ አርባምንጭ ፣ ቦንጋ፣ ድሬዳዋ፣ ጅማ እና ባህር ዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች የመጡ ተማሪዎች ተሳትፈዋል።
በቃል ክርክር ከሁሉም ተወዳዳሪዎች የበለጠ ዉጤት አምጥታ ተማሪ ምህረት ወንድሙ አሰፋ ከድሬዳዋ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የዋንጫና ሰርትፊኬት በግል ተሸላሚ ሆናለች። ድሬዳዋ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በዩኒቨርሲቲ ደረጃ አሸናፊ በመሆን የወርቅ ዋንጫዉን ተረክቧል።
በመጨረሻም በቃል ክርክር ለተሳተፉ ለሁሉም አስራ ሁለቱም ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች የምስጋና የምስክር ወረቀት እና ዋንጫ ተበርክቶላቸዋል ። በዚህም መሰረት ድሬድዋ ዩንቨርሲቲ፣
ሰላሌ ዩንቨርሲቲ እና ባ/ዳር ዩንቨርሲቲ ተሸላሚ ሆነዋል::

About-Law is looking for a volunteer legal assistant for the creation of content for its social media platforms, including Telegram, Facebook, and LinkedIn platforms.
Role Description
This is a remote volunteer role as a Legal Assistant at ስለ-ሕግ ABOUT-LAW. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for providing legal assistance, legal document preparation, and communication support. The role may involve tasks such as legal research, drafting legal documents, organizing case files, and assisting in communication, posting relevant information including but not limited to vacancies, scholarships, and other calls, replying to questions and support the team in ongoing legal-tech projects and initiatives and consolidation of legal documents.
Qualification
- Have diverse experience affiliated with legal writing and content creation.
- LL.B graduate and exceptional final-year students will be considered.
- Strong interest in law and legal field
- Experience or knowledge in legal document preparation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with legal assistant duties and responsibilities
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely

Authors are invited to submit abstract of their paper (in not more than 500 words) and their updated CV to the Organizing Committee via (tajebe01@gmail.com) and copy to (Tesema.Simachew@bdu.edu.et) indicating “Abstract/Author’s first name” in the subject line. New works are encouraged but published works are also welcome so long as they fit the theme of the workshop. The full paper should not exceed 8000 words.

Call for Applications - Advanced Human Rights Course: Children’s Rights in Africa
The Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria, in partnership with the CENTRE FOR CHILD LAW, University of Pretoria and Dullah Omar Institute (DOI), Governance and Human Rights, University of the Western Cape will host a one-week intensive short course on Children's Rights in Africa from 17 – 21 June 2024.
The primary goal of the course is to provide participants with theoretical and practical knowledge in the area of children’s rights and to equip them with skills for promoting and monitoring the implementation of the rights and welfare of children. The course shines a spotlight on the African context and contextualizes the universal children’s rights discourse in the region.
